Six Sigma

Today is November 15th. 2013. In the past few days I've heard the phrase six sigma. Being a former business man, in industrial manufacturing, I'm very familiar with the phrase six sigma. I don't know why, but I've felt compelled to put my thoughts pertaining to six sigma in writing. So here it is.

Six Sigma
As It Pertains To Manufacturing

Six Sigma is a program designed to make people think they are, or can be perfect, do things perfect, or that machines can produce things that are perfect. Not just produce one thing perfect but that they, or it, can do it repeatedly. A six sigma process is one in which only .0000034% of the products manufactured are allowed to have defects. Thatís 3.4 defective parts allowed for every 1,000,000 produced. I would call that perfection.

The boxes above are my representation of people and their level of intellect. Stupidity, to me, means that one doesnít have the capability of learning very well at all. Ignorance, to me, with proper training can achieve an average or above average understanding of things. Average? I think most all of us pretty well know what that means. Above average? The same, I think we can pretty much understand that also. Perfection? Well, I think we all know what that means too. And, that no one can achieve it. At least not while in the flesh. So, thereís not one person or machine that has been, or ever will be, in that category. But, no doubt there are some who have been convinced that they are perfect. Thereís only one that I can think of who truly believes heís above perfection. Which puts him in the little box with the question mark. I donít know what the description for that little box should be ... or what that kind of intelligence would be called. So Iíll just leave the questions mark. But I do think I know what heís up to.

1. The persons whose intelligence falls in the category of Stupidity, I donít know how the ? would approach those.

2. Those in the Ignorance category? Hey ole buddy, keep working hard and studying at night and youíll move up onto the ladder of success. There youíll be able to have two jobs.

3. To the Average? Do you want to be average all your life. You should contribute more to mankind than that. Youíre capable of much much more. You need to get two jobs and help those whoíre in need. Oh, by the way, to compete with the foreign imports into this country, we have to decrease your wages. I think you may be able to pick up a few extra hours per week at McDonaldís. I canít seem to think of any good paying manufacturing jobs lately. I wonder why that is? I guess my memory isnít what it used to be.

4. To the Above Average? Hey you!!! Why arenít you at six sigma? Youíre slower at achieving this level than you were with three sigma. Whatís your problem? Perfection isnít hard! Youíre almost there. Come on. Get with the program. Did you really think you could get by with just plain and simple, Statistical Process Control? Youíre in the top of the Above Average category, just a little more and youíre there. SIX SIGMA!

If youíve gotten this far, this is probably beginning to sound a bit silly to you. But, myself and many other former industrial manufacturers, have been through all this. I remember the good ole days when, and if, you sent a customer a very small percentage of poorly produced parts, he, or she, would call you up and say. "Hey we found five bad parts today on our assembly line, how about sending us five to replace them". Then it went to "We found five bad parts today out of the truckload you sent us. Weíre sending you an invoice for five thousand dollars, ( $5,000.00), for sorting time we had to perform in order to keep our line going". From there it went to something like this. "We found one, (1), bad part out of the 340,000 you sent us today. Weíre sending the whole damn truckload back to you".

My personal opinion of three sigma, six sigma, and ISO-9000 is, ... that they were initiated to drive the United States out of the manufacturing business. It worked. Most everything we purchase is produced in a foreign nation where they do not, and never will attempt, to abide by the impossible requirements of three sigma, six sigma, or ISO-9000. Quite a smart way to eliminate your competition. ... Satanís been around a long long time. Heís the one sitting in that little box with the question mark. He gives orders to those who think theyíre in the Perfection Box, but arenít. But they think they are. .... Just part of a masterful plan to take a truly free and independent people and make them totally dependent on THE SYSTEM.

Sigma is a Greek word that simply means hissing. Which species on earth makes a hissing sound? The Snake.

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, (or snake), called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

The Greek meaning of the word serpent in the above verse is:
3789. ophis, of'_is; prob. from G3700 (through the idea of sharpness of vision); a snake, fig. (as a type of sly cunning) an artful malicious person, espec.
Satan:__serpent.

Thanks, for allowing me, to share this with you. Remember, to always, study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

In His Word,
