Showing The Enemy Our Weapons

FOX NEWS, October 15, 2009:
Obama to Allow Russians to Inspect Our Nukes:

Russia and the United States have tentatively agreed to a weapons inspection program that would allow Russians to visit nuclear sites in America to count missiles and warheads. ... God help us.

The plan, which Fox News has learned was agreed to in principle during negotiations, would constitute the most intrusive weapons inspection program the U.S. has ever accepted.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, who met with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, said publicly Tuesday that the two nations have made "considerable" progress toward reaching agreement on a new strategic arms treaty.

The 1991 Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, or START, expires in December and negotiators have been racing to reach agreement on a successor.

Clinton said the U.S. would be as transparent as possible.

"We want to ensure that every question that the Russian military or Russian government asks is answered," she said, calling missile defense "another area for deep cooperation between our countries."

End of report.

Does the Bible tell of such things? Yes It does, and has a good example. Good Ole king Hezekiah. Oh by the way, if you're wondering why the red and green, read my Bible Study In Just 92 Years.

2 Ki 20:1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

King Hezekiah witnessed the forced resettlement of the northern Kingdom of Israel by Sargon of Assyria around 720 BC and was king of Judah during the invasion and siege of Jerusalem by Sennacherib in 701 BC.

Isa 38:1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came unto him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order: for thou shalt die, and not live.

2 Chr 32:24 In those days Hezekiah was sick to the death, and prayed unto the LORD: and he spake unto him, and he gave him a sign.

2 Ki 20:2 Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,

2 Ki 20:3 I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

2 Ki 20:4 And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

2 Ki 20:5 Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

2 Ki 20:6 And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

Isa 37:35 For I will defend this city to save it for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

2 Ki 20:7 And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

2 Ki 20:8 And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that the LORD will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of the LORD the third day?

2 Ki 20:9 And Isaiah said, This sign shalt thou have of the LORD, that the LORD will do the thing that he hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?

2 Ki 20:10 And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.

2 Ki 20:11 And Isaiah the prophet cried unto the LORD: and he brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.

Isa 38:8 Behold, I will bring again the shadow of the degrees, which is gone down in the sun dial of Ahaz, ten degrees backward. So the sun returned ten degrees, by which degrees it was gone down.

Josh 10:13 And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies. Is not this written in the book of Jasher? So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down about a whole day.

2 Ki 20:12 At that time Berodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present unto Hezekiah: for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

God testing Hezekiah:
2 Chr 32:31 Howbeit in the business of the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent unto him to inquire of the wonder that was done in the land, God left him, to try him, that he might know all that was in his heart.

2 Ki 20:13 And Hezekiah hearkened unto them, and showed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion[1], that Hezekiah showed them not.

Hezekiah was really showing off here. He will live to regret it.

1 "DOMINION": 4475. memshalah, mem-shaw-law'; fem. of H4474; rule; also (concr. in plur.) a realm or a ruler:--dominion, government, power, to rule.

2 Ki 20:14 Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.

2 Ki 20:15 And he said, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All the things that are in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them.

This is also written of in the book of Isaiah:
Isa 39:1 At that time Merodachbaladan, the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah: for he had heard that he had been sick, and was recovered.

Isa 39:2 And Hezekiah was glad of them, and showed them the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious ointment, and all the house of his armour, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah showed them not.

Isa 39:3 Then came Isaiah the prophet unto king Hezekiah, and said unto him, What said these men? and from whence came they unto thee? And Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country unto me, even from Babylon.

Isa 39:4 Then said he, What have they seen in thine house? And Hezekiah answered, All that is in mine house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not showed them.

The repercussions for showing the enemy your weapons:

2 Ki 20:16 And Isaiah said unto Hezekiah, Hear the word of the LORD.

2 Ki 20:17 Behold, the days come, that all that is in thine house, and that which thy fathers have laid up in store unto this day, shall be carried into Babylon: nothing shall be left, saith the LORD.

More prophecy of this by Jeremiah:
Jer 20:5 Moreover I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.

2 Ki 20:18 And of thy sons that shall issue from thee, which thou shalt beget, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.

The fulfillment of this prophecy is described several places in the Bible. I choose the book of Daniel for it describes in detail and way into the future, not only the Babylonian captivity of Judah, but also the king's sons, or seed, being brought to Babylon to serve in the palace of the king of Babylon. Four of whom we all know well. Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Dan 1:1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.

Dan 1:2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

Dan 1:3 And the king spake unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the princes;

Dan 1:4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

Dan 1:5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's meat, and of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end thereof they might stand before the king.

Dan 1:6 Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:

Dan 1:7 Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach; and to Azariah, of Abednego.

Quite a price for showing off one's weapons. A whole nation going into captivity, around 586 BC, about 130 years after the prophecy. This was only the Southern Kingdom of Israel, which consisted of the tribe of Judah and parts of the tribe of Benjamin. The Northern Kingdom, known as the Ten Northern Tribes of Israel, had already been taken captive by the Assyrians almost 200 years earlier, around 722-732 BC, and from there, were scattered throughout the whole world, even to this nation, the United States.

There's another Babylon written of in the Bible. The Babylon of the end time. Mystery Babylon. I want to repeat the news report of Obama wanting to show the enemy our weapons.

Mystery Babylon:
Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Rev 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened[1] with his glory[2].

1 "LIGHTENED": 5461. photizo, fo-tid'-zo; from G5457; to shed rays, i.e. to shine or (trans.) to brighten up (lit. or fig.):--enlighten, illuminate, (bring to, give) light, make to see.

2 "GLORY": 1391. doxa, dox'-ah; from the base of G1380; glory (as very apparent), in a wide application (lit. or fig., obj. or subj.):--dignity, glory (-ious), honour, praise, worship.

Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon[1] the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

1 "BABYLON": 897. Babulon, bab-oo-lone'; of Heb. or. [H894]; Babylon, the capital of Chaldaea (lit. or fig. [as a type of tyranny]):--Babylon.

894. Babel, baw-bel'; from H1101; confusion; Babel (i.e. Babylon), including Babylonia and the Bab.

Isa 21:9 And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.

Micah 4:10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

Jer 51:8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

Babylon, (or Babel, the end time confusion), is done away with. Have you ever seen or read of a time where there was so much confusion as now, 2009? October, 2009.

Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication[1] with her, and the merchants of the earth[2] are waxed[3] rich through the abundance[4] of her delicacies[5].

Jer 51:7 Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD'S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

1 "FORNICATION": 4203. porneuo, porn-yoo'-o; from G4204; to act the harlot, i.e. (lit.) indulge unlawful lust (of either sex), or (fig.) practise idolatry:--commit (fornication).

2 "EARTH": 1093. ge, ghay; contr. from a prim. word; soil; by extens. a region, or the solid part or the whole of the terrene globe (includ. the occupants in each application):--country, earth (-ly), ground, land, world.

3 "WAXED": 4147. plouteo, ploo-teh'-o; from G4148; to be (or become) wealthy (lit. or fig.):--be increased with goods, (be made, wax) rich.

4 "ABUNDANCE": 1411. dunamis, doo'-nam-is; from G1410; force (lit. or fig.); spec. miraculous power (usually by impl. a miracle itself):--ability, abundance, meaning, might (-ily, -y, -y deed), (worker of) miracle (-s), power, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work.

5 "DELICACIES": 4764. strenos, stray'-nos; akin to G4731; a "straining", "strenuousness" or "strength", i.e. (fig.) luxury (voluptuousness):--delicacy.

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

If (my people) is the church, which I believe is, then this proves that the church is still here, right up to the very end of this flesh age. Not taken out, (raptured).

Jer 51:6 Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompense.

Jer 51:45 My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

Isa 48:20 Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob.

Zec 2:7 Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

Rev 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Rev 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

Isa 51:17 Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.

Hab 2:16 Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD'S right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.

Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial, (a broad shallow cup), upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

Oba 1:16 For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.

Psa 75:8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

Rev 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

To be a queen means she must be married. She's no widow, means her husband is still alive. Mystery Babylon being a false religion must be those people who follow Satan when he arrives before Christ.

Isa 47:7 And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.

Isa 47:8 Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:

Isa 47:9 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.

Rev 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

Rev 18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail[1] her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

1 "BEWAIL": 2799. klaio, klah'-yo; of uncert. affin.; to sob, i.e. wail aloud (whereas G1145 is rather to cry silently):--bewail. weep.

Rev 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

Rev 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

Rev 18:12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,

Rev 18:13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

Souls of men? Is Satan trying to sell, or get something, that don't belong to him? Can he buy your soul?

Ezek 18:4 (God talking), Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Rev 18:14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

Rev 18:15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

Rev 18:16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

Rev 18:17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

Rev 18:18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

Rev 18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness[1]! for in one hour is she made desolate.

Think of how many ships there must be transporting goods from China to the United States, (2009)

1 "COSTLINESS": 5094. timiotes, tim-ee-ot'-ace; from G5093; expensiveness, i.e. (by impl.) magnificence:--costliness.

Rev 18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

They finally get theirs.

Rev 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

Jer 51:42 The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.

Jer 51:63 And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates:

Jer 51:64 And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.

Rev 18:22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

Rev 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries[1] were all nations deceived.

1 "SORCERIES": 5331. pharmakeia, far-mak-i'-ah; from G5332; medication ("pharmacy"), i.e. (by extens.) magic (lit. or fig.):--sorcery, witchcraft.

5332. pharmakeus, far-mak-yoos'; from pharmakon (a drug, i.e. spell-giving potion); a druggist ("pharmacist") or poisoner, i.e. (by extens.) a magician:--sorcerer

Rev 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Jer 25:10 Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle.

Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

There's another something that Obama wants to do also.

October 15, 2009:
The Washington Times

EXCLUSIVE: Obama loosens missile technology controls to China:

All this reminds me of something else. The Outsourcing of America:

I'm sure most everyone knows what outsourcing of America is. Having most everything produced in another nation. There can be great repercussions for doing that. In a short period of time one could find themselves without the expertise or the ability to produce greatly needed items for their very survival as a nation. Don't think for one minute that Red Communist China isn't producing component parts for our military weapons. I know for a fact that they have and are probably still producing parts for our F-16 fighter jet airplanes. ... Has this happened before? Does the Bible have any lessons for us to learn concerning this very thing? Yes It does.

1 Sam 13:1 Saul reigned one year; and when he had reigned two years over Israel,

King Saul reigned from 1047 BC to 1007 BC.

1 Sam 13:2 Saul chose him three thousand men of Israel; whereof two thousand were with Saul in Michmash and in mount Bethel, and a thousand were with Jonathan in Gibeah of Benjamin: and the rest of the people he sent every man to his tent.

1 Sam 13:3 And Jonathan smote the garrison[1] of the Philistines that was in Geba, and the Philistines heard of it. And Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews hear.

1 "GARRISON": 5333. netsiyb, nets-eeb'; or netsib, nets-eeb'; from H5324; something stationary, i.e. a prefect, a military post, a statue:--garrison, officer, pillar.

1 Sam 13:4 And all Israel heard say that Saul had smitten a garrison of the Philistines, and that Israel also was had in abomination with the Philistines. And the people were called together after Saul to Gilgal.

1 Sam 13:5 And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the sea shore in multitude: and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Bethaven.

1 Sam 13:6 When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait, (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in rocks, and in high places, and in pits.

1 Sam 13:7 And some of the Hebrews went over Jordan to the land of Gad and Gilead. As for Saul, he was yet in Gilgal, and all the people followed him trembling[1].

1 "TREMBLING": 2729. charad, khaw-rad'; a prim. root; to shudder with terror; hence to fear; also to hasten (with anxiety):--be (make) afraid, be careful, discomfit, fray (away), quake, tremble.

1 Sam 13:8 And he tarried seven days, according to the set time that Samuel had appointed: but Samuel came not to Gilgal; and the people were scattered from him.

1 Sam 13:9 And Saul said, Bring hither a burnt offering to me, and peace offerings. And he offered the burnt offering.

1 Sam 13:10 And it came to pass, that as soon as he had made an end of offering the burnt offering, behold, Samuel came; and Saul went out to meet him, that he might salute him.

1 Sam 13:11 And Samuel said, What hast thou done? And Saul said, Because I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that thou camest not within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered themselves together at Michmash;

1 Sam 13:12 Therefore said I, The Philistines will come down now upon me to Gilgal, and I have not made supplication unto the LORD: I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering.

King Saul taking over Samuel's job. Acting, I repeat, acting, as a man of God.

1 Sam 13:13 And Samuel said to Saul, Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of the LORD thy God, which he commanded thee: for now would the LORD have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.

1 Sam 13:14 But now thy kingdom shall not continue: the LORD hath sought him a man after his own heart, and the LORD hath commanded him to be captain over his people, because thou hast not kept that which the LORD commanded thee.

Acts 13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will.

1 Sam 13:15 And Samuel arose, and gat him up from Gilgal unto Gibeah of Benjamin. And Saul numbered the people that were present with him, about six hundred men.

1 Sam 13:16 And Saul, and Jonathan his son, and the people that were present with them, abode in Gibeah of Benjamin: but the Philistines encamped in Michmash.

1 Sam 13:17 And the spoilers came out of the camp of the Philistines in three companies: one company turned unto the way that leadeth to Ophrah, unto the land of Shual:

1 Sam 13:18 And another company turned the way to Bethhoron: and another company turned to the way of the border that looketh to the valley of Zeboim toward the wilderness.

1 Sam 13:19 Now there was no smith[1] found throughout all the land of Israel: for the Philistines said, Lest the Hebrews make them swords or spears:

Today, we think of a smith as a blacksmith. Someone who works with metals. Such was the case here, (swords and spears).

1 "SMITH": 2796. charash, khaw-rawsh'; from H2790; a fabricator of any material:--artificer, (+) carpenter, craftsman, engraver, maker, + mason, skilful, (+) smith, worker, workman, such as wrought.

1 Sam 13:20 But all the Israelites went down to the Philistines, to sharpen every man his share, and his coulter, and his ax, and his mattock.

They depended on the enemy for all their metal requirements. Sounds like the United States today, (2009).

1 Sam 13:21 Yet they had a file for the mattocks, and for the coulters, and for the forks, and for the axes, and to sharpen the goads.

Oh boy, they had a file! That's just great!

1 Sam 13:22 So it came to pass in the day of battle, that there was neither sword nor spear found in the hand of any of the people that were with Saul and Jonathan: but with Saul and with Jonathan his son was there found.

Read on in 1 Samuel chapter 14 to see how God delivered Israel in that battle. God was with them then. With the military. In their camp to protect and deliver them from their enemies.

Oh there's more. What has Obama vowed to do now? Don't ask, Don't tell.

Homosexuality in the military:

Fox News.com January 19th. 2009:

Obama to End Military's 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' Policy:

President-elect Barack Obama will allow gays to serve openly in the military by overturning the controversial "don't ask, don't tell" policy that marred President Clinton's first days in office, according to incoming White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs.

The Huffington Post October 19th. 2009:

President Barack Obama reaffirmed his campaign pledge to end the ban on homosexuals serving openly in the military in a speech Saturday, but offered no timetable or specifics for acting on that promise.

"I will end don't ask-don't tell," Obama said to a standing ovation from the crowd of about 3,000 at the annual dinner of the Human Rights Campaign, a gay civil rights advocacy group.

Think maybe the Bible has anything to say about this also? Homosexuality in the military? Surely not.

Deu 20:1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

Deu 20:2 And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people,

Deu 20:3 And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them;

Deu 20:4 For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

With God in our midst we'll lose no wars. Review the United States war record and battles where our forces were outnumbered many times yet we prevailed.

Deu 23:9 When the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing.

Deu 23:14 For the LORD thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean[1] thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

1 "UNCLEAN": 6172. 'ervah, er-vaw'; from H6168; nudity, lit. (espec. the pudenda) or fig. (disgrace, blemish):--nakedness, shame, unclean (-ness). ... According to Webster's, the definition of pudenda is: The external genital organs of a human being; especially: the external genitals of a woman.

Anyone who's been in the military knows that the men shower together. It's not a big issue. Even in high-school boys shower together and girls shower together. That is not an unclean or wicked thing. So there's more being said here. I believe the next five verses describes just what it is that God doesn't want to see in our military. Remember Sodom, Gomorrah, and Gibeah?

Lev 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

Rom 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Rom 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

Rom 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly[1], and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

1 "UNSEEMLY": 808. aschemosune, as-kay-mos-oo'-nay; from G809; an indecency; by impl. the pudenda:--shame, that which is unseemly. ... According to Webster's, the definition of pudenda is: The external genital organs of a human being; especially: the external genitals of a woman.

God will not tolerate homosexuality in our military. If He sees it, He'll be gone, ...

When we as a nation openly allow homosexuality in our military we're apt to lose our major protection, which is GOD.

It seems to me that most of what Obama is doing, God don't like. ... I believe we're nearing the end. God help us.

Showing The Enemy Our Weapons? Giving the enemy our missile technology? The Outsourcing of America? Which has been going on for a long time, mainly to one of our enemies. To openly allow homosexuality in our military?

I have one more verse for this study. It's a statement about some of the things our forefathers did long long ago and how we're to learn from their mistakes. It appears we haven't.

1 Cor 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples[1]: and they are written for our admonition[2], upon whom the ends of the world[3] are come.

1 "ENSAMPLES": 5179. tupos, too'-pos; from G5180; a die (as struck), i.e. (by impl.) a stamp or scar; by anal. a shape, i.e. a statue, (fig.) style or resemblance; spec. a sampler ("type"), i.e. a model (for imitation) or instance (for warning):--en- (ex-) ample, fashion, figure, form, manner, pattern, print.

2 "ADMONITION": 3559. nouthesia, noo-thes-ee'-ah; from G3563 and a der. of G5087; calling attention to, i.e. (by impl.) mild rebuke or warning:--admonition.

3 "WORLD": 165. aion, ahee-ohn'; from the same as G104; prop. an age; by extens. perpetuity (also past); by impl. the world; spec. (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future):--age, course, eternal, (for) ever (-more), [n-]ever, (beginning of the, while the) world (began, without end). Comp. G5550.

Thanks, for allowing me, to share this with you. Remember, to always, study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
