Keeping Records

The Bible clearly shows that God keeps a record on each of us as we journey through this flesh life. Some verses to indicate this are.

(Rev 3:5) He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

(Rev 20:12) And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

(2 Cor 5:10) For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

We know that God keeps records. But how does God gather information for those records? How can God be everywhere at the same time? How can God deal with everyone on an individual basis? How does God know what we think? How can God be in outer space, here on earth, and in Heaven at the same time? How can God maintain control of all things? How does God know what sickness a person may have in order to heal that person? There are lot's of questions about God. I'm sure you have many. I want to insert two bible verses here.

(1 John 5:7) For there are three that bear[1] record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost[2]: and these three are one.

1 "BEAR": 3140. martureo, mar-too-reh'-o; from G3144; to be a witness, i.e. testify (lit. or fig.):--charge, give [evidence], bear record, have (obtain, of) good (honest) report, be well reported of, testify, give (have) testimony, (be, bear, give, obtain) witness.

2 "GHOST": 4151. pneuma, pnyoo'-mah; from G4154; a current of air, i.e. breath (blast) or a breeze; by anal. or fig. a spirit, i.e. (human) the rational soul, (by impl.) vital principle, mental disposition, etc., or (superhuman) an angel, daemon, or (divine) God, Christ's spirit, the Holy Spirit:--ghost, life, spirit (-ual, -ually), mind. Comp. G5590.

(John 10:30) I and my Father are one.

Note the meaning of the word, bear, in 1John 5:7. The word record has the same meaning. Also note the meaning of the word Ghost. The words ghost and spirit in the New Testament are the same Greek word pneuma. Strong's word G4151. The word ghost appears in the New Testament 97 times and spirit 234 times. The Hebrew word Ruwach appears in the Old testament four hundred times. Eleven times as H7306, three hundred seventy nine times as H7307, and as H3708 ten times. The following is the meanings of those words.

H7306. ruwach, roo'-akh; a prim. root; prop. to blow, i.e. breathe; only (lit.) to smell or (by impl. perceive (fig. to anticipate, enjoy):--accept, smell, X touch, make of quick understanding.

H7307. ruwach, roo'-akh; from H7306; wind; by resemblance breath, i.e. a sensible (or even violent) exhalation; fig. life, anger, unsubstantiality; by extens. a region of the sky; by resemblance spirit, but only of a rational being (includ. its expression and functions):--air, anger, blast, breath, X cool, courage, mind, X quarter, X side, spirit ([-ual]), tempest, X vain, ([whirl-])
wind (-y).

H7308. ruwach, (Chald.), roo'-akh; corresp. to H7307:--mind, spirit, wind.

The words ruwach and pneuma appear in the Bible 731 times. That is a lot of air. No pun intended. What is everywhere? The air. It is all around us. If the flesh don't have it, the flesh dies. Just try holding your breath for a while. How long can you stop breathing before you die. As long as you are in the flesh, you will be breathing air. We breathe in air. It goes from our lungs into our blood stream and throughout our body, even our brain (control center and thought process, the inward man). God doesn't have to wait too long, just a few seconds, for a complete update on our mental, physical, and spiritual state of being. We go to doctors, they check our blood, which gives lot's of information about us. God's techniques are far more advanced than ours.

Jesus knew what people were thinking.

(Mat 9:4) And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts?

How do you think, that what was in their minds, got into His? Through the air no doubt.
The air is in the water. We know that fish have gills, they get the air from the water, in order to survive.

The heavens even keep records. How? There's air in the heavens.

(Psa 19:1) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David. The heavens declare[1] the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork.

5608. caphar, saw-far'; a prim. root; prop. to score with a mark as a tally or record, i.e. (by impl.) to inscribe, and also to enumerate; intens. to recount, i.e. celebrate:--commune, (ac-) count, declare, number, + penknife, reckon, scribe, shew forth, speak, talk, tell (out), writer.

There's even air in the rocks. Rocks, like most things have some porosity to them.

(Luke 19:40) And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.

How did the Holy Spirit speak through the apostles on Pentecost day?

(Acts 2:1) And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

(Acts 2:2) And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind[1], and it filled all the house where they were sitting.

1 "WIND": 4157. pnoe, pno-ay'; from G4154; respiration, a breeze:--breath, wind.

(Acts 2:3) And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.

(Acts 2:4) And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Note the word wind in Acts 2:2. Respiration? breath? We're back to air again. Acts 2:4 indicates to me that the Holy Spirit was inside them. How did it get there? The air? It will happen once more. The next verse will tell you when.

(Mark 13:11) But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost[1].

1 "GHOST": 4151. pneuma, pnyoo'-mah; from G4154; a current of air, i.e. breath (blast) or a breeze; by anal. or fig. a spirit, i.e. (human) the rational soul, (by impl.) vital principle, mental disposition, etc., or (superhuman) an angel, daemon, or (divine) God, Christ's spirit, the Holy Spirit:--ghost, life, spirit (-ual, -ually), mind. Comp. G5590.

Note the word Ghost in Mark 13:11. It is the word pneuma.

How can God be everywhere at the same time. Through the air. How can God deal with everyone on an individual basis? The air. How does God know what we think? The air. How can God be in outer space, here on earth, and in Heaven at the same time? The air. How Does God know what sickness a person may have in order to heal that person? The air. How does God gather information? Do you think maybe it could be - - - the  air?

I have enclosed the Bible  verses containing the Hebrew word ruwach 3706, 3707, and 3708. Also the Greek word Pneuma 4151. Just click the (view verses) tab in order to view them.

Thanks, for allowing me, to share this with you. Remember, to always, study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

In His Word,
