The Revelation of Jesus Christ

Rev 1:1 The Revelation[1] of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:

1 "REVELATION": 602. apokalupsis, ap-ok-al'-oop-sis; from G601; disclosure:--appearing, coming, lighten, manifestation, be revealed, revelation.

601. apokalupto, ap-ok-al-oop'-to; from G575 and G2572; to take off the cover, i.e. disclose:--reveal.

Rev 1:2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.

2 Cor 12:1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

2 Cor 12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

2 Cor 12:3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)

2 Cor 12:4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

Paul saw and heard things and was told not to reveal them. Unlike Paul, you'll see in verse 11 that John is told to write everything down.

Blessed is he that understands this prophecy

Rev 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth[1], and they that hear[2] the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

1 "READETH": 314. anaginosko, an-ag-in-oce'-ko; from G303 and G1097; to know again, i.e. (by extens.) to read:--read.

2 "HEAR": 191. akouo, ak-oo'-o; a prim. verb; to hear (in various senses):--give (in the) audience (of), come (to the ears), ([shall]) hear (-er, -ken), be noised, be reported, understand.

Rev 1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;

The word seven appears in the New Testament 91 times in 65 verses. In Revelation alone it appears 54 times in 31 verses. This should bring to our attention that the number seven is very significant in God's Word. 59.3 percent of the time in Revelation. In Bible numerics, seven means "spiritual completeness".

Rev 3:1, Rev 4:5, and Rev 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Christ, the faithful witness

Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince[1] of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

1 "PRINCE": 758. archon, ar'-khone; pres. part. of G757; a first (in rank or power):--chief (ruler), magistrate, prince, ruler.

Rev 1:6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever[1] and ever. Amen.

1 "EVER": 165. aion, ahee-ohn'; from the same as G104; prop. an age; by extens. perpetuity (also past); by impl. the world; spec. (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future):--age, course, eternal, (for) ever (-more), [n-]ever, (beginning of the, while the) world (began, without end). Comp. G5550.

Rev 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The second coming of Christ described

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds[1] of the earth shall wail[2] because of him. Even so, Amen.

1 "KINDREDS": 5443. phule, foo-lay'; from G5453 (comp. G5444); an offshoot, i.e. race or clan:--kindred, tribe.

2 "WAIL": 2875. kopto, kop'-to; a prim. verb; to "chop"; spec. to beat the breast in grief:--cut down, lament, mourn, (be-) wail. Comp. the base of G5114.

Every eye shall see him? Does this sound like some secret rapture? Of course not. Don't sound like a happy time for some.

1 Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Psa 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

Zec 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of

Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me

whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

John 19:34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith

came there out blood and water.

John 19:37 And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

Jesus, The Alpha and Omega

Rev 1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Here I think makes references to the three earth and heavenly ages. Which is, is now, (the flesh age, number 2). Which was, (the first earth and heavenly age, number 1). Which is to come is, (the third and final earth and heavenly age).

Isa 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

John, our companion in tribulation, on the isle of Patmos

Rev 1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Do you have the testimony of Jesus Christ? If so look out, Satan's after you. See Revelation 12:17.

Luke 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

In the Spirit on the Lord's day

Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

Not some little wimpy voice. A great voice.

Note that it doesn't say on the Sabbath Day or the first day of the week, but the Lord's day. John does a little time travel. He was taken spiritually, not the flesh, to the most appropriate vantage point in time, to the Lord's Day. That one thousand year reign of Christ, where he could look in times past, times present, and beyond the great white throne judgment into all of eternity, with the most clear and understanding point of view. Keeping this in mind makes Revelation easier to understand.

Note that John knows he's in the spirit, but as 2 Cor 12:3 states, Paul didn't know. Of course Paul, I believe, had just been stoned to death.

2 Cor 12:3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;)

I believe the Lord's Day to be that one thousand year reign of Christ. Research the following verses and surrounding ones. Isa 2:12, Isa 13:6, isa 13:9, Jer 46:10, Eze 13:5, Eze 30:3, Joe 1:15, Joe 2:1, Joe 2:11, Joe 2:31, Joe 3:14, Amo 5:18, Amo 5:20, Oba 1:15, Zep 1:7, Zep 1:14 Zec 14:1, Mal 4:5, Acts 2:20, 1Co 5:5, 2Ch 1:14, 1Th 5:2, and 2 Pet 3:10. See also the Day Of Vengeance. Pro 6:34, Isa 34:8, Isa 61:2, Isa 63:4, Jer 46:10, Jer 50:15, and Luk 21:22.

Zec 14:1 Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

2 Pet 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

2 Pet 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

One day with the Lord is equal to a thousand years to us. So, when Jesus comes, known also as, the day of the Lord, it will last for one thousand years.

John is told to write in a book, all that he sees,
send it to the seven churches in Asia

Rev 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.

We're reading the book now.

Seven golden candlesticks

Rev 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;

Hosea 12:10 I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.

Rev 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

Rev 1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

Rev 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

John gives a very detailed account of what Jesus is like. Remember, John is viewing the supernatural.

Dan 10:5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:

Dan 10:6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Seven stars and a two-edged sword

Rev 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

John falls, as dead, at the feet of Jesus

Rev 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

Possessor of the keys

Rev 1:18 I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore[1], Amen; and have the keys of hell[2] and of death.

1 "EVERMORE": 165. aion, ahee-ohn'; from the same as G104; prop. an age; by extens. perpetuity (also past); by impl. the world; spec. (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future):--age, course, eternal, (for) ever (-more), [n-]ever, (beginning of the, while the) world (began, without end). Comp. G5550.

2 "HELL": 86. haides, hah'-dace; from G1 (as a neg. particle) and G1492; prop. unseen, i.e. "Hades" or the place (state) of departed souls:--grave, hell.

Possessor of the keys means, He can let you out..... and..... He can put you in.

Write the things past, present, and future

Rev 1:19 Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;

Past, present, and future.

Jesus explains the symbolism

Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

God uses symbology, (Similitudes). See Hos 12:10. See my note at Revelation 11:4.

Hosea 12:10 I have also spoken by the prophets, and I have multiplied visions, and used similitudes, by the ministry of the prophets.

Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

To the church of Ephesus

Rev 2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;

Rev 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

Luke 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

Rev 2:3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.

Rev 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

Here's a church that seemed to have everything going for it. Until they left their first love. God is our first Love. Some will Leave God and go for the son of perdition. Right close to the very end.

2 Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling[1] away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

1 "FALLING": 646. apostasia, ap-os-tas-ee'-ah; fem. of the same as G647; defection from truth (prop. the state) ["apostasy"]:--falling away, forsake.

Jude 1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent[1].

1 "REPENT": 3340. metanoeo, met-an-o-eh'-o; from G3326 and G3539; to think differently or afterwards, i.e. reconsider (mor. feel compunction):--repent.

Get away from that garbage teaching.

Rev 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.

At least they hate the same things that Jesus hates.

Rev 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches[1]; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

1 "CHURCHES": 1577. ekklesia, ek-klay-see'-ah; from a comp. of G1537 and a der. of G2564; a calling out, i.e. (concr.) a popular meeting, espec. a religious congregation (Jewish synagogue, or Chr. community of members on earth or saints in heaven or both):--assembly, church.

To the church in Smyrna.
One of the two Jesus found no fault with

Rev 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

The church of Philadelphia and Smyrna are the only two that Jesus found no fault with. Which church would you, as an individual fall into? These two or one of the other five.

Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Rev 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue[1] of Satan.

1 "SYNAGOGUE": 4864. sunagoge, soon-ag-o-gay'; from (the redupl. form of) G4863; an assemblage of persons; spec. a Jewish "synagogue" (the meeting or the place); by anal. a Christian church:--assembly, congregation, synagogue.

They know the difference between the profane and the Holy.

Ezek 44:23 And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and profane, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.

1 Chr 2:55 And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites[1] that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.

1 "KENITES": 7017. Qeyniy, kay-nee'; or Qiyniy (H1 Chron. 2 : 55), kee-nee'; patron. from H7014; a Kenite or member of the tribe of Kajin:--Kenite.

7014. Qayin, kah'-yin; the same as H7013 (with a play upon the affinity to H7069); Kajin, the name of the first child, also of a place in Pal., and of an Oriental tribe:--Cain, Kenite (-s).

The kenites, offspring of Cain, dwelling in Jerusalem. See Jeremiah 35:1 thru 35:10.

Jer 51:51 We are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame hath covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD'S house.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Don't think that God's people aren't going to have tribulation.

Mark 13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light,

Dan 1:12 Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.

Another food that will be hard to find in this day is the Word of God.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

The death spoken of here is the death to a soul.

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

To the church in Pergamos

Rev 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;

Rev 2:13 I know thy works and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.

Rev 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

Rev 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

Rev 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

Rev 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden[1] manna[2], and will give him a white stone[3], and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.

See Rev 13:18 where the word count is the same as the word stone in this verse. Also, there will be no identity theft there.

1 "HIDDEN": 2928. krupto, kroop'-to; a prim. verb; to conceal (prop. by covering):--hide (self), keep secret, secret [-ly].

2 "MANNA": 3131. manna, man'-nah; of Heb. or. [H4478]; manna (i.e. man), an edible gum:--manna.

3 "STONE": 5586. psephos, psay'-fos; from the same as G5584; a pebble (as worn smooth by handling), i.e. (by impl. of use as a counter or ballot) a verdict (of acquittal) or ticket (of admission); a vote:--stone, voice.

Isa 62:2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

To the church in Thyatira

Rev 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

Rev 2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.

Rev 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel[1], which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication[2], and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.

1 "JEZEBEL": 2403. Iezabel, ee-ed-zab-ale'; of Heb. or. [H348]; Jezabel (i.e. Jezebel), a Tyrian woman (used as a synonym of a termagant or false teacher):--Jezabel.

The word termagant, according to Webster's dictionary, means: A legendary Muslim deity represented in early English drama as a boisterous character. It also means: An overbearing or nagging woman. Remember, this is end time prophecy. Stay current! What's been happening this 21st. century? ............

2 "FORNICATION": 4203. porneuo, porn-yoo'-o; from G4204; to act the harlot, i.e. (lit.) indulge unlawful lust (of either sex), or (fig.) practise idolatry:--commit (fornication).

Spiritual fornication. End time spiritual fornication.

Rev 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Rev 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.

Rev 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins[1] and hearts[2]: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.

1 "REINS": 3510. nephros, nef-ros'; of uncert. affin.; a kidney (plur.), i.e. (fig.) the inmost mind:--reins.

2 "HEARTS": 2588. kardia, kar-dee'-ah; prol. from a prim. kar (Lat. cor, "heart"); the heart, i.e. (fig.) the thoughts or feelings (mind); also (by anal.) the middle:--(+ broken-) heart (-ed).

According to what? Your works.

James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

James 2:26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Rev 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.

No doubt, some in this church, don't believe the garbage being taught there. I guess they attend just to have some place to go. Very dangerous.

Rev 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Rev 2:28 And I will give him the morning star.

Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Rev 2:29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

To the church in Sardis

Rev 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

They're alive in the flesh, but spiritually they are dead.

Rev 3:2 Be watchful[1], and strengthen[2] the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect[3] before God.

1 "WATCHFUL": 1127. gregoreuo, gray-gor-yoo'-o; from G1453; to keep awake, i.e. watch (lit. or fig.):--be vigilant, wake, (be) watch (-ful).

2 "STRENGTHEN": 4741. sterizo, stay-rid'-zo; from a presumed der. of G2476 (like G4731); to set fast, i.e. (lit.) to turn resolutely in a certain direction, or (fig.) to confirm:--fix, (e-) stablish, stedfastly set, strengthen.

3 "PERFECT": 4137. pleroo, play-ro'-o; from G4134; to make replete, i.e. (lit.) to cram (a net), level up (a hollow), or (fig.) to furnish (or imbue, diffuse, influence), satisfy, execute (an office), finish (a period or task), verify (or coincide with a prediction), etc.:--accomplish, X after, (be) complete, end, expire, fill (up), fulfil, (be, make) full (come), fully preach, perfect, supply.

Jesus asked his disciples to watch with him for one hour. See Mat. 26:38 Thru 26:40.

Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

These people have received and heard the True Word, yet they're spiritually dead. What happened?

2 Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling[1] away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

1 "FALLING": 646. apostasia, ap-os-tas-ee'-ah; fem. of the same as G647; defection from truth (prop. the state) ["apostasy"]:--falling away, forsake.

Remember, this is end time prophecy. If you don't watch, Jesus will come as a thief in the night. If you study hard and do watch, you'll know what to look for. You'll also know what hour Jesus is coming. See Mark 13:35 thru 37.

Rev 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

To me this verse indicates that God gets to the individual level even in the churches, or so called churches, of God. It's obvious that there are worthy and unworthy people going to the same church. God has the ability to and will sort them accordingly.

Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Psa 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

Psa 51:9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

Call upon the Lord and He will blot out your sins and not your name.

Rev 3:6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

To the church in Philadelphia
One of the two Jesus found no fault with

Rev 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

The church of Philadelphia and Smyrna are the only two that Jesus found no fault with. Which church would you, as an individual fall into? These two or one of the other five.

Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Isa 22:22 And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.

Rev 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue[1] of Satan, which say they are Jews[2], and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

2 "JEWS": 2453. Ioudaios, ee-oo-dah'-yos; from G2448 (in the sense of G2455 as a country); Judaean, i.e. belonging to Jehudah:--Jew (-ess), of Judaea.

2455. Ioudas, ee-oo-das'; of Heb. or. [H3063]; Judas (i.e. Jehudah), the name of ten Isr.; also of the posterity of one of them and its region:--Juda (-h, -s); Jude.

Isa 60:14 The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

Prov 14:19 The evil bow before the good; and the wicked at the gates of the righteous.

1 Chr 2:55 And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.

The kenites, sons of Cain, dwelling in Jerusalem. See Jeremiah 35:6.

Jer 51:51 We are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame hath covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD'S house.

Mat 13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

Mat 13:37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

Mat 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

Mat 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Some claim to be Abraham's seed:
John 8:33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

Jesus tells them:
John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

A murderer from the beginning? And just who was that? Cain.

The hour of temptation

Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Some say that the church of Philadelphia is supposed to be raptured.

Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh[1] will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

1 "OVERCOMETH": 3528. nikao, nik-ah'-o; from G3529; to subdue (lit. or fig.):--conquer, overcome, prevail, get the victory.

To overcome something means you've met it and defeated it. If one has flew the coop, (or been raptured), he would've bypassed it.

What, or who, is the temple of God?
Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

Rev 3:13 He that hath an ear, let him hear[1] what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

1 "HEAR": 191. akouo, ak-oo'-o; a prim. verb; to hear (in various senses):--give (in the) audience (of), come (to the ears), ([shall]) hear (-er, -ken), be noised, be reported, understand.

He that hath an ear, let him hear with understanding.

To the church of the Laodiceans

Rev 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

Rev 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

Rev 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue[1] thee out of my mouth.

1 "SPUE": 1692. emeo, em-eh'-o; of uncert. affin.; to vomit:--(will) spue.

How would you like to be treated as vomit?

Rev 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Rev 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Rev 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

Rev 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

It's obvious that Jesus is on the outside of this church, for He's knocking on their door. He's supposed to be on the inside. Think maybe they'll invite Him in? That little, (big), word, if.

Rev 3:21 To him that overcometh[1] will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

1 "OVERCOMETH": 3528. nikao, nik-ah'-o; from G3529; to subdue (lit. or fig.):--conquer, overcome, prevail, get the victory.

In order to subdue and conquer, one has to take part in the battle, not fly the coop.

Rev 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

A door open in heaven and a voice saying, "Come up hither"

Rev 4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show thee things which must be hereafter.

Some say this is the rapture. That this is the church being taken out of this earth. It might be more believable if the person here was Peter and not John.

I looked .... not the church. I heard .... not the church. Talking with me ....not the church. I will show thee .... not the church.

Mat 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Immediately, John is in the spirit, and is in heaven

Rev 4:2 And immediately[1] I was in the spirit; and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.

1 "IMMEDIATELY": 2112. eutheos, yoo-theh'-oce; adv. from G2117; directly, i.e. at once or soon:--anon, as soon as, forthwith, immediately, shortly, straightway.

Rev 4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow[1] round about[2] the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

1 "RAINBOW": 2463. iris, ee'-ris; perh. from G2046 (as a symb. of the female messenger of the pagan deities); a rainbow ("iris"):--rainbow.

2 "ABOUT": 2943. kuklothen, koo-kloth'-en; adv. from the same as G2945; from the circle, i.e. all around:--(round) about.

The rainbow here is the real thing. Not a fake.

Ezek 1:28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake.

Around the throne

Rev 4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.

Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

Rev 4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God.

Rev 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass[1] like unto crystal[2]: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts[3] full of eyes before and behind.

1 "GLASS": 5193. hualinos, hoo-al'-ee-nos; from G5194; glassy, i.e. transparent:--of glass.

2 "CRYSTAL": 2930. krustallos, kroos'-tal-los; from a der. of kruos (frost); ice, i.e. (by anal.) rock "crystal":--crystal.

3 "BEASTS": 2226. zoon, dzo'-on; neut. of a der. of G2198; a live thing, i.e. an animal:--beast.

Rev 4:7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.

Ezek 1:4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

Ezek 1:5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.

Ezek 1:6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.

Ezek 1:7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.

Ezek 1:8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.

Ezek 1:9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.

Ezek 1:10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

Num 2:2 Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the ensign of their father's house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.

Rev 4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

Isa 6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.

Isa 6:2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.

Isa 6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

Rev 4:9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who liveth for ever[1] and ever,

Comp. G5550.

Rev 4:10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,

God created all things for His pleasure

Rev 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.

See Ezekiel 18:32. There it tells of something that doesn't bring Him pleasure.

Ezek 18:32 For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye.

Col 1:16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:

When does God start receiving great pleasure, and there will be nothing but pleasure? After the great white throne judgment, when all former things are passed away,

1 John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Luke 2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

Luke 2:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Prov 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

The sealed book

Rev 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

The sealing and the un-sealing:

Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Words are closed till when? The time of the end. Here, in Daniel, the prophecy is sealed.

Rev 22:10 And he saith unto me, Seal[1] not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

1 "SEAL": 4972. sphragizo, sfrag-id'-zo; from G4973; to stamp (with a signet or private mark) for security or preservation (lit. or fig.); by impl. to keep secret, to attest:--(set a, set to) seal up.

Here, at the end, John's been told to release or seal not the prophecy. Let out the secret.

Rev 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Rev 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

Here, Jesus, the only one capable, begins to release the seals. There are seven.

Also read Ezekiel 2:9 thru 3:11.

Rev 5:2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

Rev 9:3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

Rev 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

Rev 9:5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

Rev 5:3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look[1] thereon.

1 "LOOK": 991. blepo, blep'-o; a prim. verb; to look at (lit. or fig.):--behold, beware, lie, look (on, to), perceive, regard, see, sight, take heed. Comp. G3700.

3700. optanomai, op-tan'-om-ahee; a (mid.) prol. form of the prim. (mid.) optomai, op'-tom-ahee, which is used for it in certain tenses; and both as alt. of G3708; to gaze (i.e. with wide-open eyes, as at something remarkable; and thus differing from G991, which denotes simply voluntary observation; and from G1492, which expresses merely mechanical, passive or casual vision; while G2300, and still more emphatically its intens. G2334, signifies an earnest but more continued inspection; and G4648 a watching from a distance):--appear, look, see, shew self.

Rev 5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy[1] to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

1 "WORTHY": 514. axios, ax'-ee-os; prob. from G71; deserving, comparable or suitable (as if drawing praise):--due reward, meet, [un-] worthy.

Why couldn't anyone open it? They weren't worthy.

Rev 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

See Rev. 6 for the seals.

Isa 29:10 For the LORD hath poured out upon you the spirit of deep sleep, and hath closed your eyes: the prophets and your rulers, the seers hath he covered.

Isa 29:11 And the vision of all is become unto you as the words of a book that is sealed, which men deliver to one that is learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I cannot; for it is sealed:

Isa 29:12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

Gen 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

The word tree in Genesis 3:3 can mean, the closing of the eyes.

TREE 6086. 'ets, ates; from H6095; a tree (from its firmness); hence wood (plur. sticks):-- + carpenter, gallows, helve, + pine, plank, staff, stalk, stick, stock, timber, tree, wood.

6095. 'atsah, aw-tsaw'; a prim. root; prop. to fasten (or make firm), i.e. to close (the eyes):--shut.

Rev 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Who is the Lamb slain? Jesus.

Rev 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

The prayers of the saints

Rev 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

God does have your prayers.

A new song honoring Jesus

Rev 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

Jesus earned the right.

Rev 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

Isa 42:10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

An innumerable number of angels
giving glory and honor to Jesus

Rev 5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

Rev 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

Rev 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever[1] and ever.

Comp. G5550.

Luke 2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

Luke 2:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Rev 5:14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Six, of the seven seals
The four horsemen, (seals 1 thru 4)

Rev 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

With the population explosion, non Christian beliefs, atheism, and communism has spread all over the world and seem to have more of an influence on the population, the news media etc. Even with all this, Satan will not win his desire to be worshiped as God in the eternity.

For every positive there's a negative. In the next few verses you'll read of four negative, (or Satanic), horsemen. In Zechariah 1:7-11 you can read of the four positive horsemen sent by God.

Rev 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow[1]; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

1 "BOW": 5115. toxon, tox'-on; from the base of G5088; a bow (appar. as the simplest fabric):--bow.

First Seal:
Mark 13:5 And Jesus answering them began to say,
Take heed lest any man deceive you:

Mark 13:6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

This is not the white horse in Revelation 19:11. This is the antichrist. Satan himself.

Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

The bow is a cheap imitation of the real thing described in Revelation 4:3 and 10:1.

Rev 4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

Rev 10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

Rev 6:3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

Rev 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

That red atheistic communism has done it's share to destroy peace in this final generation.

Mark 13:7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

Rev 6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.

Rev 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.

Seal 3:
Mark 13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

I believe this verse indicates that just before the end, it will take all the average working person's income to just get by. This has come to pass in just the past few years. Even though at this time, when there's plenty, and people seem to have everything. This time being the year 2005. More of that atheistic communism to rob people of most everything they work for. I'm updating the date to May 2009. After what's happened in the USA and around the world in the last twelve months, it's really beginning to make more sense.

What about the wine?

Mat 26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it;

Mat 26:28 (Jesus talking). For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Luke 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Rev 6:7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.

Rev 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale[1] horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell[2] followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger[3], and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.

1 "PALE": 5515. chloros, khlo-ros'; from the same as G5514; greenish; i.e. verdant, dun-colored:--green, pale.

One should note the Arabic flags.

2 "HELL": 6. haides, hah'-dace; from G1 (as a neg. particle) and G1492; prop. unseen, i.e. "Hades" or the place (state) of departed souls:--grave, hell.

3 "HUNGER": 3042. limos, lee-mos'; prob. from G3007 (through the idea of destitution); a scarcity of food:--dearth, famine, hunger.

Mark 6:39 And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green[1] grass.

1 "GREEN": 5515. chloros, khlo-ros'; from the same as G5514; greenish; i.e. verdant, dun-colored:--green, pale.

Satan will be coming, with his angels. Note the meaning of the word pale.

We're hearing lots about Green Energy or Green Power as of late, (2009). You know like horsepower, power systems, etc. When the Bible refers to horses sometimes it means power.

One should note the color of the Arabic flags. They have lots of green. Along with the atheistic communism and Socialism, we have Islam, which comes basically from the Arabic nations.

It's not a co-incidence that almost 25 percent, (or 1/4), of the earth's population, here in this final generation, is Islamic.

John 16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.

In this, the 21st. century, there's a religious group, that it appears, just loves to kill Christians. Remember September 11th. 2001?

Speaking of flags, I want to insert some verses from Obadiah, which I feel is referring to Russia.

Oba 1:1 The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord GOD concerning Edom; We have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent among the heathen, Arise ye, and let us rise up against her in battle.

Oba 1:2 Behold, I have made thee small among the heathen: thou art greatly despised.

Oba 1:3 The pride of thine heart hath deceived thee, thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, whose habitation is high; that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me down to the ground?

Oba 1:4 Though thou exalt thyself as the eagle, and though thou set thy nest among the stars, thence will I bring thee down, saith the LORD.

The national bird of the U.S.A.

Oba 1:5 If thieves came to thee, if robbers by night, (how art thou cut off!) would they not have stolen till they had enough? if the grapegatherers came to thee, would they not leave some grapes?

Communism? Russia? As the eagle? Are they trying to imitate the United states? Look at the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic, (USSR), flag and look at Russia's current flag.

Heb 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he, (Jesus), also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

The famine for the end time is for the hearing of the word of God.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: .......... This is that famine.

Seal no. 5. Souls under the altar saying,
"How long O Lord"

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

Note, these people are not in the ground, (or graves). They're with God.

Rev 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

This verse proves that people in Heaven are aware of their life in the flesh. See Luke 15:7.

Zep 1:18 Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD'S wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.

Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Hab 1:2 O LORD, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save!

Rev 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Who are their fellowservants? Who's being talked about here? See Rev 11:7 thru 14.

Luke 18:3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

Seal no. 6. The sun becomes black and the moon as blood

Rev 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;

See Mar 13:24. Satan is coming trying to imitate Jesus. He'll try to produce the same conditions as Jesus at His coming. Satan's will be a false darkness as well as false light.

Rev 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

Rev 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit. ..... Is this the false darkness?

See Mark 13:14 through 25 for seal no. 6 there.

Rev 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

Here Satan and his angels are booted out of Heaven to this earth. See Rev 12:9. and Mark 13:28.

Mark 13:25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

Read my notes at Haggai 2:7 concerning shaking the wicked.

Isa 34:4 And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.

Rev 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.

Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

No one will be able to hide on that day.

Hosea 10:8 The high places also of Aven, the sin of Israel, shall be destroyed: the thorn and the thistle shall come up on their altars; and they shall say to the mountains, Cover us; and to the hills, Fall on us.

The great day of God's wrath is come

Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Just like the 6th and 7th trumpets, there's a whole chapter between the 6th and 7th seals.

Who'll be able to stand? Those who have the seal of God.
Rev 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

Rev 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

Rev 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Rev 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

The sealing of the 144,000 of the tribes of Israel

Rev 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.

See Jer 4:11 thru Jer 4:12. See Eze 37:1 thru Eze 37:9. See Zec 6:5.

Jer 4:11 At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of my people, not to fan, nor to cleanse,

Jer 4:12 Even a full wind from those places shall come unto me: now also will I give sentence against them.

Zec 6:5 And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth.

Dan 11:4 And when he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of heaven; and not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion which he ruled: for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others beside those.

Rev 7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,

Read thru verses 4, then see Isa 29.

Rev 7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed[1]: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

1 "SEALED": 4972. sphragizo, sfrag-id'-zo; from G4973; to stamp (with a signet or private mark) for security or preservation (lit. or fig.); by impl. to keep secret, to attest:--(set a, set to) seal up. ....... Check out the word attest in Webster's dictionary. "To affirm to be true or genuine. Specifically to authenticate by signing as a witness. To put on oath. To testify to a belief".

Isa 45:4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me.

If Israel is God's elect then who are these 144,000? I believe them to be those with understanding, who instructs many spoken of in Daniel 11:33. Or maybe they are the many instructed? Other peoples of the earth are not included here, only a small portion of the twelve tribes of Israel, and, at a particular time. Right at and just before the end of time. This takes place while Satan is here. The hour of temptation that comes on the whole world. I believe there'll be many more besides just these from the twelve tribes of Israel. Just as God fed the people in Egypt through the seven years of famine. He'll make sure His people are spiritually fed in the end time. Read Genesis 41.

Dan 11:32 And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

Dan 11:33 And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.

Dan 11:34 Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries.

Dan 11:35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.

Dan 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.

Rev 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

1 Ki 19:18 Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

These 7,000 in 1 Kings 19:18 are probably the very elect.

Mark 13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues[1] ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony[2] against them.

1 "SYNAGOGUES": 4864. sunagoge, soon-ag-o-gay'; from (the redupl. form of) G4863; an assemblage of persons; spec. a Jewish "synagogue" (the meeting or the place); by anal. a Christian church:--assembly, congregation, synagogue.

2 "TESTIMONY": 3142. marturion, mar-too'-ree-on; neut. of a presumed der. of G3144; something evidential, i.e. (gen.) evidence given or (spec.) the Decalogue (in the sacred Tabernacle):--to be testified, testimony, witness.

Rev 7:5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.

Rev 7:6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.

Rev 7:7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.

Rev 7:8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.

What about Ephraim and Dan? See Ezekiel 48 where both are listed and that's in the one thousand year reign of Christ.

An innumerable multitude
before the throne of God, dressed in white

Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations[1], and kindreds[2], and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;

1 "NATIONS": 1484. ethnos, eth'-nos; prob. from G1486; a race (as of the same habit), i.e. a tribe; spec. a foreign (non-Jewish) one (usually by impl. pagan):--Gentile, heathen, nation, people.

2 "KINDREDS": 5443. phule, foo-lay'; from G5453 (comp. G5444); an offshoot, i.e. race or clan:--kindred, tribe.

Palms in their hands. See Lev. 23:39 and Lev. 23:40.

Rev 7:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.

Rev 7:11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,

Rev 7:12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever[1] and ever.

Comp. G5550.

Rev 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

Out of great tribulation

Rev 7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

They came through Satan's tribulation. Remember, salvation is for the Gentile also. Did Jesus wash their robes with His blood? No, they did.

Rev 7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.

Rev 7:16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.

God shall wipe away all tears

Rev 7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

The seventh seal
Silence in heaven

Rev 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour[1].

1 "HOUR": 2256. hemiorion, hay-mee-o'-ree-on; from the base of G2255 and G5610; a half-hour:--half an hour.

5610. hora, ho'-rah; appar. a prim. word; an "hour" (lit. or fig.):--day, hour, instant, season, X short, [even-] tide, (high) time.

Silence in heaven? Why? Satan and his angels are kicked out of heaven onto the earth in Revelation 12:7-9. Think maybe those in heaven are very intently monitoring the situation on earth during his, (Satan's), de facto reign here? The climatic end to this earth age.

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

According to Strong's the word time can mean: A short season.

Seven angels with seven trumpets

Rev 8:2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

An angel with the prayers of the saints

Rev 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer[1]; and there was given unto him much incense[2], that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

1 "CENSER": 031. libanotos, lib-an-o-tos'; from G3030; frankincense, i.e. (by extens.) a censer for burning it:--censer.

2 "INCENSE": 2368. thumiama, thoo-mee'-am-ah; from G2370; an aroma, i.e. fragrant powder burnt in religious service; by impl. the burning itself:--incense, odour.

Rev 8:4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.

Rev 8:5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

The seven angels prepare to sound

Rev 8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

1st. trumpet. Hail and fire mingled with blood

Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

Exo 9:24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

Rev 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

2nd. trumpet. As a great mountain
burning with fire, cast into the sea

Rev 8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;

Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

The waters are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues? Blood is red. What type of government is referred to as red? Communism. I believe this is another reference to communism. It's not a coincidence that here in 2009, one third of the world’s population is communist. See Amos 2:1 for a very detailed prophecy of the rise of communism.

Rev 8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.

3rd. trumpet. A great star, called
wormwood, falls from heaven

Rev 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;

Luke 10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

Rev 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood[1]: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

One should read Numbers 5 in it's entirety.

Num 5:24 And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.

Jer 9:15 Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.

1 "WORMWOOD": 894. apsinthos, ap'-sin-thos; of uncert. der.; wormwood (as a type of bitterness, i.e. [fig.] calamity):--wormwood.

4th. trumpet. One third of the
sun, moon, and stars are darkened

Rev 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.

Note, both night and day.

Woe, woe, woe

Rev 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe[1], woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

1 "WOE": 3759. ouai, oo-ah'ee; a prim. exclamation of grief: "woe":--alas, woe.

Rev 9:12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

Rev 11:14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

5th. trumpet. A star with the key to the bottomless pit

Rev 9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall[1] from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.

1 "FALL": 4098. pipto, pip'-to; a redupl. and contr. form of peto, pet'-o (which occurs only as an alt. in cert. tenses); prob. akin to G4072 through the idea of alighting; to fall (lit. or fig.):--fail, fall (down), light on.

A star fall from heaven? To him? This proves the symbology. Star for an angel.

Smoke from the bottomless pit

Rev 9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.

Blowing smoke. I'm sure you've heard of a smokescreen. That's what's taking place here. Satan's crew sending out the greatest deception of all time. Paving the way for their fearless leader. He'll show up soon.

Out of the smoke comes locust,
having the power of scorpions

Rev 9:3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Locust can create a famine. What is the famine of the end time?

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Can hurt only those having not the seal of God

Rev 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal[1] of God in their foreheads.

1 "SEAL": 4973. sphragis, sfrag-ece'; prob. strengthened from G5420; a signet (as fencing in or protecting from misappropriation); by impl. the stamp impressed (as a mark of privacy, or genuineness), lit. or fig.:--seal.

Mark on the forehead. See Eze 9:4 thru Eze 9:6. Here God is telling Satan to go down there and hurt those that have not the knowledge of God in their forehead. Just like in Job 1. Job passed the test. Will we? See Joel 2. Read Isa 29 to fully understand. Some claim that God's people will be gone at this time, (the rapture). Surely God's people have His seal in their forehead and guess what, they're still here.

1 Chr 16:22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Psa 105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Rev 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

Ezek 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

Ezek 9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

Five months of torment

Rev 9:5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he striketh a man.

How long did God shorten time to? Five months.

Mark 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

Convert the real life actions, (or better said, destruction), of a swarm of locust into the spiritual and that's what they're going to try to do to your soul.

See luk. 10:19 where God gives power over the enemy.

Men shall seek death but not find it

Rev 9:6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

Rev 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

Rev 6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:

Locust like horses, with faces
of men, and crowns like gold

Rev 9:7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.

These are not locust. Symbology.

Rev 9:8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.

Easy talking, like a woman, but as vicious as a lion. Deception.

Joel 1:6 For a nation is come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he hath the cheek teeth of a great lion.

Rev 9:9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.

Joel 2:4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.

Joel 2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.

Rev 9:10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.

See luk 10:19. Again five months.

Satan, the angel of the bottomless pit

Rev 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless[1] pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon[2], but in the Greek tongue hath his name[3] Apollyon[4].

1 "BOTTOMLESS": 12. abussos, ab'-us-sos; from G1 (as a neg. particle) and a var. of G1037; depthless, i.e. (spec.) (infernal) "abyss":--deep, (bottomless) pit.

2 "ABADDON": 3. Abaddon, ab-ad-dohn'; of Heb. or. [H11]; a destroying angel:--Abaddon.

H11. 'abaddown, ab-ad-done'; intens. from H6; abstr. a perishing; concr. Hades:--destruction.

3 "NAME": 3686. onoma, on'-om-ah; from a presumed der. of the base of G1097 (comp. G3685); a "name" (lit. or fig.) [authority, character]:--called, (+ sur-) name (-d).

4 "APOLLYON": 623. Apolluon, ap-ol-loo'-ohn; act. part. of G622; a destroyer (i.e. Satan);--Apollyon.

622. apollumi, ap-ol'-loo-mee; from G575 and the base of G3639; to destroy fully (reflex. to perish, or lose), lit. or fig.:--destroy, die, lose, mar, perish.

Here's their fearless leader.

One of three woes is past

Rev 9:12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

Rev 8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

The sixth angel sounds

Rev 9:13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

Satan and his angels are disguised as angels of light. See 2 Co. 11:13 thru 2 Co. 11:15.

Rev 9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

Are these the bad angels spoken of in Jude 1:6?

Rev 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

Rev 9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men.

Can't actually hurt anyone physically till here. See Revelation 9:4.

Dan 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

Dan 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

Dan 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

A two hundred million man army

Rev 9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.

Out of their mouths

Rev 9:17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

Words is what come from the mouth. Here they're lies that will hurt the soul like fire and brimstone would do to a flesh body.

Rev 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

What is their weapon? Their mouth. From which comes the ammunition, lies and deception. To deceive, if it were possible, God's very elect. See Mar 13:20 thru 22. Look around today, 2007 AD, Christianity is in a great battle.

Jesus Talking:
Mark 13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh should be saved: but for the elect's sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

Mark 13:21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not:

Mark 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Rev 9:19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.

Remember luk 10:19. See 1 Co. 11:10 where women are to have power over their head because of the angels. These angels?

Rev 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

End time medications

Rev 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries[1], nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

1 "SORCERIES": 5331. pharmakeia, far-mak-i'-ah; from G5332; medication ("pharmacy"), i.e. (by extens.) magic (lit. or fig.):--sorcery, witchcraft.

5332. pharmakeus, far-mak-yoos'; from pharmakon (a drug, i.e. spell-giving potion); a druggist ("pharmacist") or poisoner, i.e. (by extens.) a magician:--sorcerer.

Rev 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

Think of today, the 21st. century, and the drug problems, both legal and illegal.

Just like the 6th and 7th seals, there is a whole chapter between the 6th and 7th trumpets.

Another mighty angel, his face as the sun,
feet as fire, and a little book in his hand

Rev 10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow[1] was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:

1 "RAINBOW": 2463. iris, ee'-ris; perh. from G2046 (as a symb. of the female messenger of the pagan deities); a rainbow ("iris"):--rainbow.

Fake religions always try to copy the real thing. The rainbow here is not a fake as suggested in Strong's no. 2643. You'll find the fake one in Revelation 6:2.

Rev 10:2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,

Seven thunders

Rev 10:3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven[1] thunders uttered their voices.

1 "SEVEN": 2033. hepta, hep-tah'; a prim. number; seven:--seven.

Rev 10:4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.

We only hear the thunder AFTER the lightening has struck. See Luk 10:18 where Satan fell as lightning. Is he trying to copy the coming of Jesus in Mat 24:27 where as the lightning comes out of the east and shines to the west so shall be the coming of Christ? If John had been allowed to write what the seven thunders uttered, would it have cleared up a lot of the things we wonder about?

Rev 10:5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,

Time no longer

Rev 10:6 And sware by him that liveth for ever[1] and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:

1 "EVER": 165. aion, ahee-ohn'; from the same as G104; prop. an age; by extens. perpetuity (also past); by impl. the world; spec. (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future):--age, course, eternal, (for) ever (-more), [n-]ever, (beginning of the, while the) world (began, without end). Comp. G5550.

Here time as we know it, (this flesh age), is destroyed, where in Gen 1:14 time for this earth age was created.

Isa 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

Rev 10:7 But in the days[1] of the voice[2] of the seventh angel, when[3] he shall begin[4] to sound[5], the mystery[6] of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

1 "DAYS": 2250. hemera, hay-mer'-ah; fem. (with G5610 implied) of a der. of hemai (to sit; akin to the base of G1476) mean. tame, i.e. gentle; day, i.e. (lit.) the time space between dawn and dark, or the whole H24 hours (but several days were usually reckoned by the Jews as inclusive of the parts of both extremes); fig. a period (always defined more or less clearly by the context):--age, + alway, (mid-) day (by day, [-ly]), + for ever, judgment, (day) time, while, years.

2 "VOICE": 5456. phone, fo-nay'; prob. akin to G5316 through the idea of disclosure; a tone (articulate, bestial or artificial); by impl. an address (for any purpose), saying or language:--noise, sound, voice.

3 "WHEN": 3752. hotan, hot'-an; from G3753 and G302; whenever (implying hypothesis or more or less uncertainty); also caus. (conj.) inasmuch as:--as long (soon) as, that, + till, when (-soever), while.

4 "BEGIN": 3195. mello, mel'-lo; a strengthened form of G3199 (through the idea of expectation); to intend, i.e. be about to be, do, or suffer something (of persons or things, espec. events; in the sense of purpose, duty, necessity, probability, possibility, or hestitation):--about, after that, be (almost), (that which is, things, + which was for) to come, intend, was to (be), mean, mind, be at the point, (be) ready, + return, shall (begin), (which, that) should (after, afterwards, hereafter) tarry, which was for, will, would, be yet.

5 "SOUND": 4537. salpizo, sal-pid'-zo; from G4536; to trumpet, i.e. sound a blast (lit. or fig.):--(which are yet to) sound (a trumpet).

6 "MYSTERY": 3466. musterion, moos-tay'-ree-on; from a der. of muo (to shut the mouth); a secret or "mystery" (through the idea of silence imposed by initiation into religious rites):--mystery.

When the seventh, (or last), trump sounds, (or begins to sound), this flesh age is over and we enter into the kingdom of God, standing in spiritual bodies with supernatural mind capabilities. Then and only then can we begin to understand fully the ways of God. Note the meaning of the word begin. This means that we are still in the 6th trump time frame. But not for long. Will we know the mysteries, (or secrets), of God just prior to His coming?

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

1 Cor 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

Mat 13:34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:

Mat 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.

John is told to take the little book and eat it

Rev 10:8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.

Rev 10:9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.

The little book is the Bible, the Word of God. See John 1:14 and John 6:53.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

John 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.

Rev 10:10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

Like Ezekiel, John digested the word into his mind.

Ezek 3:1 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

Ezek 3:2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.

Ezek 3:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

Rev 10:11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.

Who's words is John going to use when he prophesies? Gods. This Book. Just like Ezekiel.

Ezek 3:4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

John measures the temple of God

Rev 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.

Rev 11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

The two witnesses

Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

1 Chr 16:22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Psa 105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Zec 4:3 And two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.

Zec 4:11 Then answered I, and said unto him, What are these two olive trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?

Zec 4:12 And I answered again, and said unto him, What be these two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden oil out of themselves?

Zec 4:13 And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

Zec 4:14 Then said he, These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.

Candlesticks?
Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and
the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Note in this verse (Rev. 11:4), they're only two candlesticks, (or churches), not seven. Only two of the seven churches, (or candlesticks), Jesus found no fault with. Read about these seven churches, (or candlesticks), in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 and determine which would best fit your beliefs. It appears to me that Christians of this type are the only ones who will remain loyal to Jesus through the tribulation of antichrist, (or Satan). The churches are Philadelphia and Smyrna.

Smyrna:
Rev 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;

Rev 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.

Rev 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Philadelphia:
Rev 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;

Rev 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.

Rev 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue[1] of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Rev 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

Rev 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

Rev 3:13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Ephesus:
Rev 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

God, remove a candlestick, (or church)???

Amos 5:3 For thus saith the Lord GOD; The city that went out by a thousand shall leave an hundred, and that which went forth by an hundred shall leave ten, to the house of Israel. ..... Ten percent.

Amos 5:4 For thus saith the LORD unto the house of Israel, Seek ye me, and ye shall live:

Amos 5:5 But seek not Bethel[1], nor enter into Gilgal, and pass not to Beersheba: for Gilgal shall surely go into captivity, and Bethel shall come to nought[2].

1 "BETHEL": 1008. Beyth-'El, bayth-ale'; from H1004 and H410; house of God; Beth-El, a place in Pal.:--Beth-el.

2 "NOUGHT": 205. 'aven, aw'-ven; from an unused root perh. mean. prop. to pant (hence to exert oneself, usually in vain; to come to naught); strictly nothingness; also trouble, vanity, wickedness; spec. an idol:--affliction, evil, false, idol, iniquity, mischief, mourners (-ing), naught, sorrow, unjust,

Amos is end time prophecy. God will turn the House of God to nothing. Is ten percent of Christians, (or members of the right Candlesticks), of the end time, all that will remain True? ..... The two candlesticks, I believe to be the remnant spoken of in Revelation 11:13.

Powers of the two witnesses

Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

What comes from peoples mouths? Words. They'll be using God's word. Has God allowed anyone to do this before? Three times. Elijah the prophet.

(1).... 2 Ki 1:10 And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And there came down fire from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

2 Ki 1:11 Again also he sent unto him another captain of fifty with his fifty. And he answered and said unto him, O man of God, thus hath the king said, Come down quickly.

(2). ... 2 Ki 1:12 And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

(3). ... 1 Ki 18:36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.

1 Ki 18:37 Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.

1 Ki 18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.

Luke 9:54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?

God did allow Satan to do this to Job. See Job 1:12 thru 16.

Rev 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

All should read about Moses and Aaron in Exodus 3:1 thru Exodus 12:38. I believe that the two witnesses will be doing similar to things as Moses and Aaron did. With one exception. These two will be killed by Satan. This will happen just before God delivers everyone from the flesh. Remember this inserted verse.

1 Cor 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Read from 1 Cor 10:1 thru 10:11.

Death of the two witnesses

Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

Note, not until they have finished the work God has for them to do.

1 Chr 16:22 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Psa 105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Rev 11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street[1] of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.

1 "STREET": 4113. plateia, plat-i'-ah; fem. of G4116; a wide "plat" or "place", i.e. open square:--street.

Predicted at least three thousand years before the fact in Psalms 79:1-3.

Rev 11:9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

Psa 79:2 The dead bodies of thy servants have they given to be meat unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of thy saints unto the beasts of the earth.

Psa 79:3 Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.

I think the battle of Armageddon will happen within this 3 1/2 day period of time. Satan finally kills the witnesses and this blows his cover and some will see that he isn't Christ. He gets so upset that he'll try to destroy God's people who remain true to Jesus. remember He is coming for those that keep the testimony of Jesus. Rev 12:17.

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Rev 11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

The two witnesses raise from death

Rev 11:11 And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear[1] fell upon them which saw them.

1 "FEAR": 5401. phobos, fob'-os; from a prim. phebomai (to be put in fear); alarm or fright:--be afraid, + exceedingly, fear, terror.

Dan 12:11 And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. ..... 1,290 days.

Dan 12:12 Blessed, {or happy}, is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. .... 1,335 days. ...... 1,335 - 1,290 = 45 days, or 1-1/2 month. Is this how much time Satan will have from the time he sets himself up????

Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. ...... 666

Satan's number. 666 x 2 = 1,332. ... 1,335 - 1,332 = 3 days. And after three days and an half. ... Three days and one half is still in the third day.

Blessed, {or happy}, is he that waiteth to the 1,335 day? Keep reading through verse 15.

Where do I get the 666 x 2?

Rev 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

Rev 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Rev 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

See my notes on Revelation 11:4. Also, Read my notes at Haggai 2:7 concerning shaking the wicked.

Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.

Rev 11:14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly[1].

1 "QUICKLY": 5035. tachu, takh-oo'; neut. sing. of G5036 (as adv.); shortly, i.e. without delay, soon, or (by surprise) suddenly, or (by impl. of ease) readily:--lightly, quickly. ... Gonna be easy for Christ.

The third woe is the last woe.

Rev 9:12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

The end of the tribulation Jesus warned us about, just took place.

Mat 24:29 Immediately[1] after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

1 "IMMEDIATELY:" 2112. eutheos, yoo-theh'-oce; adv. from G2117; directly, i.e. at once or soon:--anon, as soon as, forthwith, immediately, shortly, straightway.

Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Mat 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The seventh and last trump and the return of Christ

Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded[1]; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever[2] and ever.

1 "SOUNDED": 4537. salpizo, sal-pid'-zo; from G4536; to trumpet, i.e. sound a blast (lit. or fig.):--(which are yet to) sound (a trumpet).

2 "EVER": 165. aion, ahee-ohn'; from the same as G104; prop. an age; by extens. perpetuity (also past); by impl. the world; spec. (Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future):--age, course, eternal, (for) ever (-more), [n-]ever, (beginning of the, while the) world (began, without end). Comp. G5550.

Here Christ takes possession of the kingdoms of this world. This will be the last day of this flesh age and the beginning of the one thousand year reign of Christ. See 1CO 15:50 thru 1CO 15:52. Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. If the kingdoms of this world become the kingdoms of God, all flesh and blood must be done away with. So at the coming of Christ all flesh must cease to exist. See Dan 2:44. and Dan 7:13 thru14.

Here is the fulfillment of the prophecy in Gen 6:7, where God said he would destroy man and all life from the face of the earth.

Dan 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

Dan 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.

Dan 7:14 And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.

Rev 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.

Micah 4:7 And I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation: and the LORD shall reign over them in mount Zion from henceforth, even for ever.

What did Jesus say about this?

John 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.

John 6:40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 11:23 Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.

John 11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

It appears that at least Martha knew the chronology of the resurrection and that it would be on the last day of this earth age. One can assume that this was common knowledge of those around Jesus at that time.

John 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Thanks to LORD God Almighty

Rev 11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,

Rev 11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

Here, our Lord getting some of the respect and honor He deserves.

God's wrath is come
The time of the dead

Rev 11:18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy[1] the earth.

1 "DESTROY": 1311. diaphtheiro, dee-af-thi'-ro; from G1225 and G5351; to rot thoroughly, i.e. (by impl.) to ruin (pass. decay utterly, fig. pervert):--corrupt, destroy, perish.

Here, everyone knows they're going to get their just reward.

The ark of God's testament
Lightnings, voices, thunderings,
an earthquake, and great hail

Rev 11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament[1]: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

1 "TESTAMENT": 1242. diatheke, dee-ath-ay'-kay; from G1303; prop. a disposition, i.e. (spec.) a contract (espec. a devisory will):--covenant, testament.

Everyone seems to wonder where the ark of the covenant is. According to this verse, it's in Heaven.

Exo 25:21 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee.

Deu 10:5 And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me.

Heb 9:4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

John sees two great wonders in heaven
A woman clothed with the sun

Rev 12:1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

The woman here I believe to be Israel.

Rev 12:2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

She, (Israel), through Mary brought forth Jesus.

A great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns

Rev 12:3 And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads.

See Rev 13:1 where Satan changes his mode of operation. Here the dragon, (Satan), has seven crowns on his heads, meaning he retains most all power for himself. In Rev 13:1 there are ten crowns on the ten horns, meaning he is delegating more power to the ten kings. Where is this power structure? In heaven. He will soon set up a similar one on earth.

Rev 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast[1] them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

1 "CAST": 906. ballo, bal'-lo; a prim. verb; to throw (in various applications, more or less violent or intense):--arise, cast (out), X dung, lay, lie, pour, put (up), send, strike, throw (down), thrust. Comp. G4496.

4496. rhipto, hrip'-to; a prim. verb (perh. rather akin to the base of G4474, through the idea of sudden motion); to fling (prop. with a quick toss, thus differing from G906, which denotes a deliberate hurl; and from teino [see in G1614], which indicates an extended projection); by qualification, to deposit (as if a load); by extens. to disperse:--cast (down, out), scatter abroad, throw.

The dragon is Satan. See Gen 3:15 where God said he would bruise Jesus' heel. See Isa 9:15 regarding the tail.

Isa 9:15 The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.

There was a time when all got along very well.

Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

See Rev 1:20 where Jesus states that stars are angels. See Job 38:7. Morning Stars. See Rom 5:12.

Rev 12:5 And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.

This is the first advent and the crucifixion of Christ and his ascension to the right hand of God. See Rev. 19:15 where Jesus is the one who rules with a rod of iron.

Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Mary along with Joseph of Aramethia went to Great Britain (Glastonberry, England). See E. Raymond Capt's book or film (The legend of Glastonberry).

Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

War in heaven

Rev 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

There was war in heaven? Sounds as if in the past tense. Remember John was taken to The Lords Day, that 1,000 year reign of Christ, which from that view point would put this event in the past. My reason for stating this is that there are some who feel this war in heaven took place long ago and isn't yet future.

Rev 1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

Rev 12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Several of Satan's names

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast[1] out, that old[2] serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

2 "OLD": 744. archaios, ar-khah'-yos; from G746; original or primeval:--(them of) old (time).

746. arche, ar-khay'; from G756; (prop. abstr.) a commencement, or (concr.) chief (in various applications of order, time, place or rank):--beginning, corner, (at the, the) first (estate), magistrate, power, principality, principle, rule.

Would you want to leave heaven and come here? I'll bet once we get there, we'd fight in order to stay.

Here are some of Satan's names. It seems most people think Satan was cast out of Heaven long long ago. But this is yet future from now.

Zep 1:5 And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;

2 Cor 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Satan doesn't want to leave heaven. If he did, he wouldn't have to be kicked out. He knows what lies ahead.

Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

They're coming, and they'll be preaching.

The accuser of our brethren

Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

If you ever wonder where Satan is, this verse proves that he's in Heaven, not here on earth, and is our accuser before God.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Zec 3:1 And he showed me Joshua[1] the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to resist[2] him.

1 "JOSHUA": 3091. Yehowshuwa', yeh-ho-shoo'-ah; or Yehowshu'a, yeh-ho-shoo'-ah; from H3068 and H3467; Jehovah-saved; Jehoshua (i.e. Joshua), the Jewish leader:--Jehoshua, Jehoshuah, Joshua. Comp. H1954, H3442.

2 "RESIST": 7853. satan, saw-tan'; a prim. root; to attack, (fig.) accuse:--(be an) adversary, resist.

Rev 12:11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

Exo 12:1 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,

Exo 12:2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

Exo 12:3 Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

Exo 12:4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

Exo 12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

Exo 12:6 And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

Exo 12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

Isa 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

1 Cor 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

Just as the Hebrew children were protected by the blood of the lamb above their door, when Satan, (the death angel), comes prior to Jesus, those who are loyal to the True Christ and have his blood applied to themselves will be protected from Satan, (the death angel).

God demonstrates everything. Not just an illustration but a real life example. The death and resurrection of Jesus was a real life demonstration that there is life after the flesh, and that we are immediately in that life upon leaving the flesh. God has certainly made it easy for the end time generation, (plenty of examples).

Satan comes to the earth

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens[1], and ye that dwell in them. Woe[2] to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great[3] wrath[4], because he knoweth that he hath but a short time[5].

1 "HEAVENS": 3772. ouranos, oo-ran-os'; perh. from the same as G3735 (through the idea of elevation); the sky; by extens. heaven (as the abode of God); by impl. happiness, power, eternity; spec. the Gospel (Christianity):--air, heaven ([-ly]), sky.

2 "WOE": 3759. ouai, oo-ah'ee; a prim. exclamation of grief: "woe":--alas, woe.

3 "GREAT": 3173. megas, meg'-as [includ. the prol. forms, fem. megale, plur. megaloi, etc.; comp. also G3176, G3187]; big (lit. or fig., in a very wide application):--(+ fear) exceedingly, great (-est), high, large, loud, mighty, + (be) sore (afraid), strong, X to years.

4 "WRATH": 2372. thumos, thoo-mos'; from G2380; passion (as if breathing hard):--fierceness, indignation, wrath. Comp. G5590.

5 "TIME": 2540. kairos, kahee-ros'; of uncert. affin.; an occasion, i.e. set or proper time:--X always, opportunity, (convenient, due) season, (due, short, while) time, a while. Comp. G5550.

The short time here is a five month period. See Rev. 9:5. Preachers, teachers, and others who say that the antichrist is already here are deceiving people. When the real thing happens they wont be prepared for it. Satan is not here on the earth until this verse.

Rev 9:12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.

This is the third and final woe.

What did Jesus say about this?

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

This verse is yet future. Far from verse 4 and 5 of this chapter. I believe this in a future sense is the start of Jacob's trouble. Remember God changed Jacob's name to Israel. He fathered the twelve sons that make up the tribes of Israel.

Jer 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it.

Mark 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Which nation has the eagle as it national bird? The United States. (Israel), the dispersed. Three and one half years? Jacob's trouble?

Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

Absalom, a type of the antichrist, (Satan)?

2 Sam 15:22 And David said to Ittai, Go and pass over. And Ittai the Gittite passed over, and all his men, and all the little ones that were with him.

2 Sam 15:23 And all the country wept with a loud voice, and all the people passed over: the king also himself passed over the brook Kidron, and all the people passed over, toward the way of the wilderness.

The next verses indicates how God will protect us at this time.

Deu 32:9 For the LORD'S portion is his people; Jacob, (Israel), is the lot of his inheritance.

Deu 32:10 He found him in a desert land, and in the waste howling wilderness; he led him about, he instructed him, he kept him as the apple of his eye.

Deu 32:11 As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young, spreadeth abroad her wings, taketh them, beareth them on her wings:

Deu 32:12 So the LORD alone did lead him, and there was no strange god with him.

No strange god with him? Like Jacob, we'll not accept this strange god, when he comes.

Water as a flood, from the mouth of Satan

Rev 12:15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth[1] water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood.

1 "MOUTH": 4750. stoma, stom'-a; prob. strengthened from a presumed der. of the base of G5114; the mouth (as if a gash in the face); by impl. language (and its relations); fig. an opening (in the earth); spec. the front or edge (of a weapon):--edge, face, mouth.

Satan's weapon? His mouth.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Isa 59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

See Gen 7:24 Noah's flood, five months. See Isa. 8:7 and Jer. 47:2.

Gen 7:24 And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.

Isa 8:7 Now therefore, behold, the Lord bringeth up upon them the waters of the river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks: ..... A flood.

When Moses led God's children out of Egypt and through the wilderness and Joshua led them across Jordan into the Promise Land, we're told in the next two verses that the things that happened to them are examples and warnings for us in the end times.

1 Cor 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea;

1 Cor 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

What were two big things that happened? The parting of the Red Sea, at the beginning of their trek in the wilderness, and the parting of the Jordan River, where they crossed over into the Promised Land.

Exo 14:21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

Exo 14:22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

And after forty years in the wilderness:
Josh 3:15 And as they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brim of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all his banks all the time of harvest,)

Josh 3:16 That the waters which came down from above stood and rose up upon an heap very far from the city Adam, that is beside Zaretan: and those that came down toward the sea of the plain, even the salt sea, failed, and were cut off: and the people passed over right against Jericho.

Josh 3:17 And the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of Jordan, and all the Israelites passed over on dry ground, until all the people were passed clean over Jordan.

Josh 4:18 And it came to pass, when the priests that bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD were come up out of the midst of Jordan, and the soles of the priests' feet were lifted up unto the dry land, that the waters of Jordan returned unto their place, and flowed over all his banks, as they did before.

In this, the end time, Satan shall cast a flood of lies from his mouth, and just as God parted the flooded Jordan River, and His children walked across into the Promised Land, We shall do likewise.

Rev 12:16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon[1] cast out of his mouth.

1 "DRAGON": 1404. drakon, drak'-own; prob. from an alt. form of derkomai (to look); a fabulous kind of serpent (perh. as supposed to fascinate):--dragon.

Who is Satan after?

Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth[1] with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony[2] of Jesus Christ.

1 "WROTH": 3710. orgizo, or-gid'-zo; from G3709; to provoke or enrage, i.e. (pass) become exasperated:--be angry (wroth).

2 "TESTIMONY": 3141. marturia, mar-too-ree'-ah; from G3144; evidence given (judicially or gen.):--record, report, testimony, witness.

3144. martus, mar'-toos; of uncert. affin.; a witness (lit. [judicially] or fig. [gen.]); by anal. a "martyr":--martyr, record, witness.

Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

See Rev. 19:10, where it states that the testimony of Jesus, is the spirit of prophecy. If you try to keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ, you're one of the over-comers, and are a member of His Church. Satan's only after these people, not the rest of the world. He already has them. This verse disproves the commonly taught pre-tribulation gathering of God's people, (the rapture). These people are still here. I think that someone who keeps the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ would be considered holy people.

Some say that Satan was cast out long ago. It has to take place after the death and resurrection of Christ, for without that, there would be no testimony of Jesus Christ.

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

John sees a beast rise up out of the sea
having seven heads and ten horns

Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his[1] horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

1 "HIS": In this verse, Strong's doesn't have a definition for the word his. But, Strong's number G3588 has different meanings, of which it is one of them. I believe this beast to be the world power, (or governing), system, which to me should make the word his to read it.

G3588. ho, ho; includ. the fem., he, hay; and the neut., to, to, in all their inflections; the def. article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted in English idiom):--the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc.

See Rev 12:3. Compare this chapter to Dan 3. Here in this, and the next few verses, Satan is trying to set up his own kingdom. Remember, symbology. Saying one thing to mean another. e.g. It's raining cats and dogs, etc.

Rev 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

Rev 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

This beast system receives it's power from Satan

Rev 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

See Rev 12:9. Shows that the dragon is one of Satan's names. Also see Rev 20:2.

Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

2 Cor 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

2 Cor 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

A deadly wound is healed

Rev 13:3 And I saw one of his[1] heads as it[2] were wounded to death; and his[3] deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered[4] after the beast.

1 "HIS": Again the word his. In this verse, Strong's doesn't have a definition for the word his.

2 "IT": Here I believe the translators got the proper interpretation. ... IT.

G3588. ho, ho; includ. the fem., he, hay; and the neut., to, to, in all their inflections; the def. article; the (sometimes to be supplied, at others omitted in English idiom):--the, this, that, one, he, she, it, etc.

3 "HIS": Again the word his.

4 "WONDERED": 2296. thaumazo, thou-mad'-zo; from G2295; to wonder; by impl. to admire:--admire, have in admiration, marvel, wonder.

Worshipping the dragon, (or Satan)

Rev 13:4 And they worshipped[1] the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

1 "WORSHIPPED": 4352. proskuneo, pros-koo-neh'-o; from G4314 and a prob. der. of G2965 (mean. to kiss, like a dog licking his master's hand); to fawn or crouch to, i.e. (lit. or fig.) prostrate oneself in homage (do reverence to, adore):--worship.

When everyone is in agreement, (especially to the point of worshipping Satan, (more like licking his hand), who then is going to make war? Can't you just visualize this? Not just worshipping Satan, but to the point of acting like a dog licking the hands of it's master. It's Sickening.

Zep 1:5 And them that worship the host of heaven upon the housetops; and them that worship and that swear by the LORD, and that swear by Malcham;

2 Th 2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2 Th 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

2 Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2 Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

Satan tempting Jesus:
Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, showed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

Luke 4:6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

Luke 4:7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

A great and evil mouth
Forty two months

Rev 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth[1] speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.

Just who gave him his power? I'm sure God gave Satan enough power to do his job.

Rev 13:6 And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

2 Th 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

2 Th 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.

War with the saints

Rev 13:7 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

Note, it was given him. See Rev 11:3 thru Rev 11:13, where the two witnesses are killed. See Dan 7:15 thru Dan 7:28.

All that dwell upon the earth shall
worship Satan, except??

Rev 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship[1] him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

1 "WORSHIP": 4352. proskuneo, pros-koo-neh'-o; from G4314 and a prob. der. of G2965 (mean. to kiss, like a dog licking his master's hand); to fawn or crouch to, i.e. (lit. or fig.) prostrate oneself in homage (do reverence to, adore):--worship.

People will really be sucking up to this one. Note The Lamb SLAIN. Not the fake lamb.

Psa 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Rev 13:9 If any man have an ear, let him hear.

Patience

Rev 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Mat 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

I believe lots of preachers and teachers will lead their flocks straight to this one, when he arrives. Some have been blinded.

Patience?
Luke 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

Another beast, the second

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon[1].

1 "DRAGON": 1404. drakon, drak'-own; prob. from an alt. form of derkomai (to look); a fabulous kind of serpent (perh. as supposed to fascinate):--dragon

The reason he spoke as a dragon, is because he is the dragon. Satan himself.

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

1 John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. ........ Note antichrist, singular.

Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Dan 7:8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

A command to worship the beast

Rev 13:12 And he exerciseth[1] all the power of the first beast before[2] him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

1 "EXERCISETH": 4160. poieo, poy-eh'-o; appar. a prol. from of an obsol. prim.; to make or do (in a very wide application, more or less direct):--abide, + agree, appoint, X avenge, + band together, be, bear, + bewray, bring (forth), cast out, cause, commit, + content, continue, deal, + without any delay, (would) do (-ing), execute, exercise, fulfil, gain, give, have, hold, X journeying, keep, + lay wait, + lighten the ship, make, X mean, + none of these things move me, observe, ordain, perform, provide, + have purged, purpose, put, + raising up, X secure, shew, X shoot out, spend, take, tarry, + transgress the law, work, yield. Comp. G4238.

2 "BEFORE": 1799. enopion, en-o'-pee-on; neut. of a comp. of G1722 and a der. of G3700; in the face of (lit. or fig.):--before, in the presence (sight) of, to.

Satan will go about this with great speed.

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Rom 11:2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,

Rom 11:3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.

Rom 11:4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.

Fire from heaven by the second beast

Rev 13:13 And he doeth great wonders[1], so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight[2] of men,

1 "WONDERS": 4592. semeion, say-mi'-on; neut. of a presumed der. of the base of G4591; an indication, espec. cer. or supernat.:--miracle, sign, token, wonder.

2 "SIGHT": 1799. enopion, en-o'-pee-on; neut. of a comp. of G1722 and a der. of G3700; in the face of (lit. or fig.):--before, in the presence (sight) of, to.

See Job 1:16 where God allowed Satan to tempt Job. His miracles will be so spectacular he will convince all but the very elect.

Job 1:16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

Note, in Job, people thought it was God who brought down the fire. Here in Revelation people will think so too.

1 Ki 18:24 And call ye on the name of your gods, and I will call on the name of the LORD: and the God that answereth by fire, let him be God. And all the people answered and said, It is well spoken.

1 Ki 18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.

2 Ki 1:12 And Elijah answered and said unto them, If I be a man of God, let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. And the fire of God came down from heaven, and consumed him and his fifty.

2 Ki 1:13 And he sent again a captain of the third fifty with his fifty. And the third captain of fifty went up, and came and fell on his knees before Elijah, and besought him, and said unto him, O man of God, I pray thee, let my life, and the life of these fifty thy servants, be precious in thy sight.

2 Ki 1:14 Behold, there came fire down from heaven, and burnt up the two captains of the former fifties with their fifties: therefore let my life now be precious in thy sight.

2 Ki 1:15 And the angel of the LORD said unto Elijah, Go down with him: be not afraid of him. And he arose, and went down with him unto the king.

Deception by miracles

Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight[1] of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image[2] to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

1 "SIGHT": 1799. enopion, en-o'-pee-on; neut. of a comp. of G1722 and a der. of G3700; in the face of (lit. or fig.):--before, in the presence (sight) of, to.

2 "IMAGE": 1504. eikon, i-kone'; from G1503; a likeness, i.e. (lit.) statute, profile, or (fig.) representation, resemblance:--image.

People are not too hard to deceive. Just think about the people around you. Even yourself. I'll bet you've been deceived, and it probably wasn't too hard. On a large, worldwide scale, just remember the Y2K scandal. His miracles will be even more convincing. People are quick to leave God and go worship something or someone else. Remember Moses went upon Mount Sinai for forty days and nights. There received the ten commandments in stone. Before that time was over, the people below, (whom had witnessed all sorts of miracles from the True and living God), started worshiping another image. A molten calf. When this wonder boy shows up, it wont take that long to start worshiping him, and his system.

Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

It's obvious that the false prophet, the second beast, and Satan are the same entity.

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

Worshipping the image of the beast

Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Dan 3:5 That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:

Dan 3:6 And whoso falleth not down and worshippeth shall the same hour be cast into the midst of a burning fiery furnace.

Most of the Christian Churches in the end time, I think will fall for the false Christ. Making them churches of Satan. See Rev. 2:9 and Rev 3:9. That would certainly bring the House of God to nothing, (or naught).

Amos 5:18 Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light.

Amos 5:21 I hate, I despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies.

Amos 5:23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols.

When Satan shows up, pretending to be Jesus, and most of the Christian community follows him, they'll be singing to the wrong Jesus. They'll be worshiping the wrong Jesus. No wonder Jesus will not be listening to them. Remember the five foolish virgins!

The mark of the beast

Rev 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

What's in your forehead? Your brain. When this time rolls around, you'd better use it.

Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Here is wisdom

Rev 13:18 Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count[1] the number of the beast[2]: for it is the number[3] of a man; and his number is Six[4] hundred threescore and six.

1 "COUNT": 5585. psephizo, psay-fid'-zo; from G5586; to use pebbles in enumeration, i.e. (gen.) to compute:--count.

5586. psephos, psay'-fos; from the same as G5584; a pebble (as worn smooth by handling), i.e. (by impl. of use as a counter or ballot) a verdict (of acquittal) or ticket (of admission); a vote:--stone, voice.

2 "BEAST": 2342. therion, thay-ree'-on; dimin. from the same as G2339; a dangerous animal:--(venomous, wild) beast. {I add, Which beast is venomous? The serpent.}

2339. thera, thay'-rah; from ther (a wild animal, as game); hunting, i.e. (fig.) destruction:--trap.

3 "NUMBER": 706. arithmos, ar-ith-mos'; from G142; a number (as reckoned up):--number.

142. airo, ah'ee-ro; a prim. verb; to lift; by impl. to take up or away; fig. to raise (the voice), keep in suspense (the mind); spec. to sail away (i.e. weigh anchor); by Heb. [comp. H5375] to expiate sin:--away with, bear (up), carry, lift up, loose, make to doubt, put away, remove, take (away, up).

4 "SIX": 5516. chi xi stigma, khee xee stig'-ma; the H22d, H14th and an obsol. letter (G4742 as a cross) of the Greek alphabet (intermediate between the H5th and H6th), used as numbers; denoting respectively H600, H60 and H6; H666 as a numeral:--six hundred threescore and six.

6. 'abad, aw-bad'; a prim. root; prop. to wander away, i.e. lose oneself; by impl. to perish (caus. destroy):--break, destroy (-uction), + not escape, fail, lose, (cause to, make) perish, spend, X and surely, take, be undone, X utterly, be void of, have no way to flee.

See Rev 2:17 where the word stone, is the same as the word count, in this verse. This word is only used two times in the New Testament. Note, those that have understanding, not all. Satan's number. 666 x 2 = 1,332.

Dan 12:12 Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.

1 Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught[1] up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Compare the description of caught to the word number. (142).

[1] CAUGHT 726. harpazo, har-pad'-zo; from a der. of G138; to seize (in various applications):--catch (away, up), pluck, pull, take (by force).

138. haireomai, hahee-reh'-om-ahee; prob. akin to G142; to take for oneself, i.e. to prefer:--choose. Some of the forms are borrowed from a cognate hellomai, hel'-lom-ahee; which is otherwise obsolete.

142. airo, ah'ee-ro; a prim. verb; to lift; by impl. to take up or away; fig. to raise (the voice), keep in suspense (the mind); spec. to sail away (i.e. weigh anchor); by Heb. [comp. H5375] to expiate sin:--away with, bear (up), carry, lift up, loose, make to doubt, put away, remove, take (away, up).

You better get to know Ole Satan's number, how he operates. Don't let him hold your mind in suspense. Don't let him make you doubt. Don't let him convince you that he's gonna weigh anchor and sail away with you. You better read Ezekiel 13. Satan is a copy cat. He's going to imitate the second coming of Jesus Christ. B-e-w-a-r-e.

Ezek 28:9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I am God? but thou shalt be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.

Read all of Ezekiel 28 to fully understand that God is talking of Satan and He calls him a man. Sons of God are men, whether in the flesh or spirit.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Dan 8:16 And I heard a man's voice between the banks of Ulai, which called, and said, Gabriel[1], make this man to understand the vision.

1 "GABRIEL": 1403. Gabriy'el, gab-ree-ale'; from H1397 and H410; man of God; Gabriel, an archangel:--Gabriel.

Luke 1:19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel[1], that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to show thee these glad tidings.

1 "GABRIEL": 1043. Gabriel, gab-ree-ale'; of Heb. or. [H1403]; Gabriel, an archangel:--Gabriel.

1403. Gabriy'el, gab-ree-ale'; from H1397 and H410; man of God; Gabriel, an archangel:--Gabriel.

Wait upon the Lord. Don't be hasty, and jump in with Satan when he arrives, claiming to be Jesus.

Isa 25:9 And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.

Mark 13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that shall endure[1] unto the end, the same shall be saved.

"ENDURE" 5278. hupomeno, hoop-om-en'-o; from G5259 and G3306; to stay under (behind), i.e. remain; fig. to undergo, i.e. bear (trials), have fortitude, persevere:--abide, endure, (take) patient (-ly), suffer, tarry behind.

Remember the word count?
1
"COUNT": 5585. psephizo, psay-fid'-zo; from G5586; to use pebbles in enumeration, i.e.

When this time comes round, who will you be voting for? .... Currently, in 2008, in fun people are saying one of our presidential candidates is the Messiah, he'll part the waters, and save the earth. Some say he's the antichrist. He's neither, but, God does send us types. ......Wake up America!!!

Jesus on Mount Zion with 144,000

Rev 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

When is Jesus going to be on Mount Zion? At His return. Also note, in their foreheads.

Heb 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their [senses] exercised to discern both good and evil.

Brain exercises? Just like exercising the body for the Olympic games. The brain is the organ of perception.

Rev 14:2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

Ezek 43:2 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east: and his voice was like a noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.

A new song, known only by the 144,000

Rev 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

Rev 7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

This 144,000 is just from the twelve tribes of Israel. This doesn't include other peoples. These are the elect or the very elect of God and at a very specific point in time.

Heb 12:22 But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

1 Ki 19:18 Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him.

These 7,000 in 1 Kings 19:18 are probably the very elect and the 144,00 are probably the elect.

Isa 42:10 Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth, ye that go down to the sea, and all that is therein; the isles, and the inhabitants thereof.

Rev 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

Rev 14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile[1]: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

1 "GUILE": 1388. dolos, dol'-os; from an obs. prim. dello (prob. mean. to decoy; comp. G1185); a trick (bait), i.e. (fig.) wile:--craft, deceit, guile, subtilty.

An angel having the everlasting gospel

Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting[1] gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

1 "EVERLASTING": 166. aionios, ahee-o'-nee-os; from G165; perpetual (also used of past time, or past and future as well):--eternal, for ever, everlasting, world (began).

Going to be fast moving events. Just before the end.

Rev 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear[1] God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

1 "FEAR": 5399. phobeo, fob-eh'-o; from G5401; to frighten, i.e. (pass.) to be alarmed; by anal. to be in awe of, i.e. revere:--be (+ sore) afraid, fear (exceedingly), reverence.

Another angel saying Babylon is fallen

Rev 14:8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath[1] of her fornication.

1 "WRATH": 2372. thumos, thoo-mos'; from G2380; passion (as if breathing hard):--fierceness, indignation, wrath. Comp. G5590.

Another angel tells the fate
of those who worship the beast

Rev 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

Rev 14:10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath[1] of God, which is poured out without mixture[2] into the cup of his indignation[3]; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

1 "WRATH": 2372. thumos, thoo-mos'; from G2380; passion (as if breathing hard):--fierceness, indignation, wrath. Comp. G5590.

2 "MIXTURE": 194. akratos, ak'-rat-os; from G1 (as a neg. particle) and a presumed der. of G2767; undiluted:--without mixture.

3 "INDIGNATION": 3709. orge, or-gay'; from G3713; prop. desire (as a reaching forth or excitement of the mind), i.e. (by anal.) violent passion (ire, or [justifiable] abhorrence); by impl. punishment:--anger, indignation, vengeance, wrath.

Rev 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever[1] and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Comp. G5550.

I believe this means that their torment, will continue until the Great White Throne Judgment, and they go into the lake of fire, which is the second death. When they cease to exist their torment will be through. I think waiting on the judgment, knowing you didn't overcome, would be torment. God is not one to make his children suffer forever. I think He would rather they cease to exist than be in torment, even if they did bring it on themselves. The smoke of their torment means that their torment is done away with. It's over. When one leaves this flesh life, there is no more day or night. When the smoke rises, it soon disappears. Never to be any more.

Rev 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Luke 21:19 In your patience possess ye your souls.

Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Their works do follow them. Works are important.

James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

Psa 49:17 For when he dieth he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

Rev 14:14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one sat like unto the Son of man, having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle.

Rev 14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

Mat 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Rev 14:16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

Rev 14:17 And another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

Rev 14:18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried with a loud cry to him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in thy sharp sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are fully ripe.

The great winepress of the wrath of God

Rev 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.

Rev 14:20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.

Flesh rolls away here.

Zec 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Seven angels having the seven last plagues

Rev 15:1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

Nahum 1:2 God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

A sea of glass mingled with fire

Rev 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

Rev 15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

The song of Moses is in Deuteronomy 32:1 - 43. Start reading in 31:30. See Deuteronomy 31:19 where God told Moses to write the song.

Deu 31:19 Now therefore write ye this song for you, and teach it the children of Israel: put it in their mouths, that this song may be a witness for me against the children of Israel.

Rev 15:4 Who shall not fear[1] thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

1 "FEAR": 5399. phobeo, fob-eh'-o; from G5401; to frighten, i.e. (pass.) to be alarmed; by anal. to be in awe of, i.e. revere:--be (+ sore) afraid, fear (exceedingly), reverence.

Not just some, but all, will come and worship.

The last half of verse 3 and all of verse 4 is the song of the Lamb.

Rev 3.5: Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Rev 15: Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Rev 15:5 And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:

Again, The seven angels having the seven last plagues

Rev 15:6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed in pure and white linen, and having their breasts girded with golden girdles.

Remember that while in Egypt, none of God's children, (Israel), were harmed by the plagues. Only the Egyptians. It will be likewise at this time.

Rev 15:7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials[1] full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever[2] and ever.

1 "VIALS": 5357. phiale, fee-al'-ay; of uncert. affin.; a broad shallow cup ("phial"):--vial.

(Jewish) a Messianic period (present or future):--age, course, eternal, (for) ever (-more), [n-]ever, (beginning of the, while the) world (began, without end). Comp. G5550.

Rev 15:8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.

The seven vials of wrath

Rev 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour[1] out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.

1 "POUR": 1632. ekcheo, ek-kheh'-o; or (by var.) ekchuno, ek-khoo'-no; from G1537 and cheo (to pour); to pour forth; fig. to bestow:--gush (pour) out, run greedily (out), shed (abroad, forth), spill.

While reading here about the wrath of God, All should read Exodus 3:1 thru Exodus 12:38. One should also read the whole book of Numbers just to see how angry God can get.

Who gets the brunt of God's wrath?

Col 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

Nahum 1:2 God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

Read Zephaniah 1:18 thru 2:3. Also read my notes at Zephaniah 2:3 to see that God protects His own. Those notes also contains Psalms 27:1-5.

Rev 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.

Upon who? Not those who have the seal of God and are true to Him.

Rev 16:3 And the second angel poured out his vial upon the sea; and it became as the blood of a dead man; and every living soul died in the sea.

Exo 7:19 And the LORD spake unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.

Rev 16:4 And the third angel poured out his vial upon the rivers and fountains of waters; and they became blood.

Satan, filling the minds of people, with his doctrine. Deception.

Rev 16:5 And I heard the angel of the waters say, Thou art righteous, O Lord, which art, and wast, and shalt be, because thou hast judged thus.

Angel of the waters?

Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Rev 16:6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and thou hast given them blood to drink; for they are worthy.

In the following verses Jesus tells who it is that killed the prophets.

Mat 23:31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

Mat 23:32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

Mat 23:33 Ye serpents, ye generation, (or offspring from Strong's) of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Mat 23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

Mat 23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

Mat 23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

Rev 11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.

Rev 11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.

Rev 11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceedeth out of their mouth, and devoureth their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.

Rev 11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to smite the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.

Rev 11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

Rev 16:7 And I heard another out of the altar say, Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are thy judgments.

Rev 16:8 And the fourth angel poured out his vial upon the sun; and power was given unto him to scorch men with fire.

Satan, and his group, will be blowing a lot of hot air. One thing to keep in mind. Hot air rises quickly.

Rev 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Still no repentance.

Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat[1] of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

1 "SEAT": 2362. thronos, thron'-os; from thrao (to sit); a stately seat ("throne"); by impl. power or (concr.) a potentate:--seat, throne.

Don't become a part of his kingdom. You do that by accepting his mark.

Rev 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

Rev 16:11 And blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds.

Still no repentance.

Rev 16:12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared.

Rev 9:13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,

Rev 9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.

Gen 4:16 And Cain[1] went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden.

1"CAIN" 7014. Qayin, kah'-yin; the same as H7013 (with a play upon the affinity to H7069); Kajin, the name of the first child, also of a place in Pal., and of an Oriental tribe:--Cain, Kenite (-s).

Rev 16:13 And I saw three unclean[1] spirits like frogs come out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false[2] prophet.

Exo 8:4 And the frogs shall come up both on thee, and upon thy people, and upon all thy servants.

Rev 9:17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

Rev 9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.

Rev 16:14 For they are the spirits of devils[1], working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

1 "DEVILS": 1142. daimon, dah'-ee-mown; from daio (to distribute fortunes); a daemon or supernatural spirit (of a bad nature):--devil.

Heard anything about distributing fortunes lately? By lately I mean August of 2009. I feel Daniel 11:24 is talking about the same event.

Dan 11:24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter[1] among them the prey[2], and spoil[3], and riches[4]: yea, and he shall forecast his devices[5] against the strong holds, even for a time.

We're hearing a lot about spreading the wealth around? Dispersing the wealth? Having all, or most everyone  on the same level. No bills, etc.??? Just accept his system. Note the meanings of these words.

1 "SCATTER": 967. bazar, baw-zar'; a prim. root; to disperse:--scatter. .....  Spread the wealth around??? Dispersing the wealth?

God is going to allow Satan, (or use him), to gather together the northern army and her allies and bring them against His people. See Ezekiel 38 and 39.

Rev 13:11 And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

Rev 13:12 And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Rev 13:13 And he doeth great wonders[1], (according to Strong's it's miracles), so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

1 "WONDERS": 4592. semeion, say-mi'-on; neut. of a presumed der. of the base of G4591; an indication, espec. cer. or supernat.:--miracle, sign, token, wonder.

Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Rev 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.

Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

When is Jesus coming? Well, here we are at the battle of Armageddon. Watch?

The next three verses is Jesus talking:
Mark 13:35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning:

Mark 13:36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

Mark 13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Armageddon

Rev 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue Armageddon[1].

1 "ARMAGEDDON": 717. Armageddon, ar-mag-ed-dohn'; of Heb. or [H2022 and H4023]; Armageddon (or Har-Megiddon), a symbol. name:--Armageddon.

4023. Megiddown, (Zec 12:11), meg-id-done'; or Megiddow, meg-id-do'; from H1413; rendezvous; Megiddon or Megiddo, a place in Pal.:--Megiddo, Megiddon.

1 "MEGIDDO": 4023. Megiddown, (Zec 12:11), meg-id-done'; or Megiddow, meg-id-do'; from H1413; rendezvous; Megiddon or Megiddo, a place in Pal.:--Megiddo, Megiddon.

Joel 3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.

Joel 3:15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

Joel 3:16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.

Joel 3:17 So shall ye know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

The seventh angel pours his vial
A great voice from the temple
of heaven declares, "It is done."

Rev 16:17 And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done.

It is done. At this point, the flesh age is over.

The greatest earthquake ever

Rev 16:18 And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great.

Rev 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Rev 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.

Rev 16:20 And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found.

Hailstones from heaven

Rev 16:21 And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent: and men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail; for the plague thereof was exceeding great.

Job 38:22 Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail,

Job 38:23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war?

Exo 9:24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

Rev 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.

The judgment of the great whore

Rev 17:1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:

Jer 5:7 How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.

Rev 17:2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.

Isa 23:17 And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.

Jer 5:7 How shall I pardon thee for this? thy children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.

Rev 17:3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman[1] sit upon a scarlet coloured beast[2], full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.

1 "WOMAN": 1135. gune, goo-nay'; prob. from the base of G1096; a woman; spec. a wife:--wife, woman.

2 "BEAST": 2342. therion, thay-ree'-on; dimin. from the same as G2339; a dangerous animal:--(venomous, wild) beast.

Satan's going to be hot on our tail. Jacob's trouble?

Luke 4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

Luke 4:2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

Satan tried to tempt Jesus, (God in the flesh). Don't think he wont do the same with you. Offer you every thing. That's what he did with Christ. The hour of temptation.

Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.

Rev 12:6 And the woman fled into the wilderness, where she hath a place prepared of God, that they should feed her there a thousand two hundred and threescore days.

Rev 12:14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

Psa 78:19 Yea, they spake against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?

Psa 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

Just as God provided for the children in the wilderness, He'll provide for His own in the end time. Whether it be physical nourishment or spiritual.

Exo 16:31 And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.

Num 11:31 And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.

Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Isa 14:17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?

Lev 16:10 But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.

Psa 95:7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

Psa 95:8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

Psa 95:9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

Rev 17:4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

See Ezekiel 16, to find out who this woman is.

Jer 51:7 Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD'S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

Mystery Babylon the Great

Rev 17:5 And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY[1], BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS[2] AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

1 "MYSTERY": 3466. musterion, moos-tay'-ree-on; from a der. of muo (to shut the mouth); a secret or "mystery" (through the idea of silence imposed by initiation into religious rites):--mystery.

2 "HARLOTS": 4204. porne, por'-nay; fem. of G4205; a strumpet; fig. an idolater:--harlot, whore.

The word mystery indicates religion. This must be false religion.

Rev 17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

The angel reveals to John the mystery the
woman, the beast, seven heads, and the ten horns

Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

The beast shall perish

Rev 17:8 The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition[1]: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder[2], whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation[3] of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is.

Psa 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

For the mind which hath wisdom

Rev 17:9 And here is the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.

Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Rev 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. A short space.

Seven kings?
1. Nebuchadnezzar, (Babylon),2. Medo Persia, 3, Greece, 4, Rome, 5. The Mohammadan, (or Muslim), from 636 AD till 1948, 6. The good and Bad figs, 7. Satan on this earth, and 8. Satan loosed for a little season at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ.

Rev 17:11 And the beast[1] that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

1 "BEAST": 2342. therion, thay-ree'-on; dimin. from the same as G2339; a dangerous animal:--(venomous, wild) beast.

Eight roles of Satan.

The ten horns explained

Rev 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.

The political group of the world join up with Satan. (One Hour). I think these 10 kings or horns could be some of the angels that Satan brings with him. Or they may me earthly rulers. We'll just have to wait and see.

Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

Dan 7:24 And the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings that shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

Rev 17:13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.

Think the world can't be deceived? Remember Y-2K.

Rev 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

Rev 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

The waters of Revelation explained

Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Waters? Remember, symbology.

Psa 29:3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

Rev 17:16 And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

Rev 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

The angel even lets John, and us, know
that this is all God's will. HIS plan

Rev 17:17 For God hath put in their hearts[1] to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.

1 "HEARTS": 2588. kardia, kar-dee'-ah; prol. from a prim. kar (Lat. cor, "heart"); the heart, i.e. (fig.) the thoughts or feelings (mind); also (by anal.) the middle:--(+ broken-) heart (-ed).

The woman explained

Rev 17:18 And the woman which thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.

Mystery Babylon.

Rev 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened[1] with his glory[2].

1 "LIGHTENED": 5461. photizo, fo-tid'-zo; from G5457; to shed rays, i.e. to shine or (trans.) to brighten up (lit. or fig.):--enlighten, illuminate, (bring to, give) light, make to see.

2 "GLORY": 1391. doxa, dox'-ah; from the base of G1380; glory (as very apparent), in a wide application (lit. or fig., obj. or subj.):--dignity, glory (-ious), honour, praise, worship.

Compare this chapter with Ezekiel 28.

Babylon the great is fallen

Rev 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon[1] the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

1 "BABYLON": 897. Babulon, bab-oo-lone'; of Heb. or. [H894]; Babylon, the capital of Chaldaea (lit. or fig. [as a type of tyranny]):--Babylon.

894. Babel, baw-bel'; from H1101; confusion; Babel (i.e. Babylon), including Babylonia and the Bab.

Isa 21:9 And, behold, here cometh a chariot of men, with a couple of horsemen. And he answered and said, Babylon is fallen, is fallen; and all the graven images of her gods he hath broken unto the ground.

Micah 4:10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail: for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon; there shalt thou be delivered; there the LORD shall redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies.

Jer 51:7 Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD'S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

Jer 51:8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: howl for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.

Babylon, (or Babel, the end time confusion), is done away with.

Fornication with a city?

Rev 18:3 For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication[1] with her, and the merchants of the earth[2] are waxed[3] rich through the abundance[4] of her delicacies[5].

1 "FORNICATION": 4203. porneuo, porn-yoo'-o; from G4204; to act the harlot, i.e. (lit.) indulge unlawful lust (of either sex), or (fig.) practise idolatry:--commit (fornication).

2 "EARTH": 1093. ge, ghay; contr. from a prim. word; soil; by extens. a region, or the solid part or the whole of the terrene globe (includ. the occupants in each application):--country, earth (-ly), ground, land, world.

3 "WAXED": 4147. plouteo, ploo-teh'-o; from G4148; to be (or become) wealthy (lit. or fig.):--be increased with goods, (be made, wax) rich.

4 "ABUNDANCE": 1411. dunamis, doo'-nam-is; from G1410; force (lit. or fig.); spec. miraculous power (usually by impl. a miracle itself):--ability, abundance, meaning, might (-ily, -y, -y deed), (worker of) miracle (-s), power, strength, violence, mighty (wonderful) work.

5 "DELICACIES": 4764. strenos, stray'-nos; akin to G4731; a "straining", "strenuousness" or "strength", i.e. (fig.) luxury (voluptuousness):--delicacy.

Isa 23:17 And it shall come to pass after the end of seventy years, that the LORD will visit Tyre, and she shall turn to her hire, and shall commit fornication with all the kingdoms of the world upon the face of the earth.

Jer 51:7 Babylon hath been a golden cup in the LORD'S hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.

Come out of Babylon, my people

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.

If (my people) is the church, which I believe is, then this proves that the church is still here, right up to the very end of this flesh age. Not taken out, (raptured), in Rev 4:1 and Rev 4:2. See Mic 4:10. If you aren't really thinking for yourself, you'll want to join this church. It has everything.

Jer 51:6 Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD'S vengeance; he will render unto her a recompense.

Jer 51:45 My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.

Isa 48:20 Go ye forth of Babylon, flee ye from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare ye, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say ye, The LORD hath redeemed his servant Jacob.

Zec 2:7 Deliver thyself, O Zion, that dwellest with the daughter of Babylon.

Rev 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.

Her sins.

Reward her double

Rev 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

See Isa. 51:17, Hab. 2:16, Luk. 22:42. Double unto her 666 x 2 = 1332. Three days short of 1335. See Dan 12:10 thru 12:13. Three and one half days the two bodies lie in the streets of Jerusalem.

Isa 51:17 Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which hast drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; thou hast drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.

Hab 2:16 Thou art filled with shame for glory: drink thou also, and let thy foreskin be uncovered: the cup of the LORD'S right hand shall be turned unto thee, and shameful spewing shall be on thy glory.

Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Rev 16:10 And the fifth angel poured out his vial, (a broad shallow cup), upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,

Oba 1:16 For as ye have drunk upon my holy mountain, so shall all the heathen drink continually, yea, they shall drink, and they shall swallow down, and they shall be as though they had not been.

Psa 75:8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.

Rev 18:7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.

To be a queen means she must be married. She's no widow, means her husband is still alive. Mystery Babylon being a false religion must be those people who follow Satan when he arrives before Christ.

Isa 47:7 And thou saidst, I shall be a lady for ever: so that thou didst not lay these things to thy heart, neither didst remember the latter end of it.

Isa 47:8 Therefore hear now this, thou that art given to pleasures, that dwellest carelessly, that sayest in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:

Isa 47:9 But these two things shall come to thee in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon thee in their perfection for the multitude of thy sorceries, and for the great abundance of thine enchantments.

In one day

Rev 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

A repeat of Ezekiel 27.

Rev 18:9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and lived deliciously with her, shall bewail[1] her, and lament for her, when they shall see the smoke of her burning,

1 "BEWAIL": 2799. klaio, klah'-yo; of uncert. affin.; to sob, i.e. wail aloud (whereas G1145 is rather to cry silently):--bewail. weep.

In one hour

Rev 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.

Twenty eight, (28), items of commerce.
Included in this list is, the souls of men

Rev 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

Rev 18:12 The merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,

Rev 18:13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.

Souls of men? Is Satan trying to sell, or get something, that don't belong to him? Can he buy your soul?

The verse below is God talking.

Ezek 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Rev 18:14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.

Rev 18:15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,

Rev 18:16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!

In one hour all has come to nothing

Rev 18:17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,

Rev 18:18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!

Rev 18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness[1]! for in one hour is she made desolate.

1 "COSTLINESS": 5094. timiotes, tim-ee-ot'-ace; from G5093; expensiveness, i.e. (by impl.) magnificence:--costliness.

Think of how many ships there must be transporting goods from China to the United States, (2006).

Rev 18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.

They finally get theirs.

The destruction of Mystery Babylon described

Rev 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

Jer 51:42 The sea is come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.

Jer 51:63 And it shall be, when thou hast made an end of reading this book, that thou shalt bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates:

Jer 51:64 And thou shalt say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.

Rev 18:22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

How did this Mystery Babylon, which is
ran by Satan, deceive the whole earth?

Rev 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries[1] were all nations deceived.

(by extens.) a magician:--sorcerer

Rev 9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Think of today, the 21st. century, and the drug problems, both legal and illegal.

Jer 25:10 Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle.

Rev 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.

The voices of many people in heaven

Rev 19:1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

Rev 19:2 For true and righteous are his judgments: for he hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.

Rev 19:3 And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever[1] and ever.

Comp. G5550.

Smoke rose up? At her destruction, that's all that's left. When the smoke rises, it soon disappears. Never to be any more.

Rev 19:4 And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.

Rev 19:5 And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye his servants, and ye that fear him, both small and great.

More and more voices, praising God

Rev 19:6 And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent[1] reigneth.

1 "OMNIPOTENT": 3841. pantokrator, pan-tok-rat'-ore; from G3956 and G2904; the all-ruling, i.e. God (as absolute and universal sovereign):--Almighty, Omnipotent.

Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

The marriage of the Lamb

Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

The clothing of the saints
is made from their righteous deeds

Rev 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness[1] of saints.

1 "RIGHTEOUSNESS": 1345. dikaioma, dik-ah'-yo-mah; from G1344; an equitable deed; by impl. a statute or decision:--judgment, justification, ordinance, righteousness.

Fine linen.

Rev 19:9 And he saith unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, These are the true sayings of God.

Marriage supper? Jesus talking in these verses:
Mat 22:11 And when the king came in to see the guests, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

Mat 22:12 And he saith unto him, Friend, how camest thou in hither not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

Mat 22:13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

John starts to worship an angel

Rev 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy[1].

1 "PROPHECY": 4394. propheteia, prof-ay-ti'-ah; from G4396 ("prophecy"); prediction (scriptural or other):--prophecy, prophesying.

People think they would not worship Satan. Well, here an upright and God fearing man, (John), was about to worship an angel, (supernatural entity). This proves that people, who have lived on the earth in the flesh, are present with God. They have jobs to do.

Jesus, coming on a white horse

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

Here we see Jesus coming in the power and glory that is truly His. See Mar 13:26, and Rev 11:17. He's riding a great white horse and not the lowly ass at his first coming. See Zec 9:9 thru Zec 9:10.

Mark 13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory.

Rev 11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.

Zec 9:9 Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.

Zec 9:10 And I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim, and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off: and he shall speak peace unto the heathen: and his dominion shall be from sea even to sea, and from the river even to the ends of the earth.

Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

The many crowns on his head indicates that all governments, kingdoms, etc. submit to Jesus. He sets up His government, which will be everlasting. See Isaiah 9:6 thru 7 and Luke 1:31 thru 33.

His name is The Word of God

Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

I believe this to be a figure of speech indicating the destruction of flesh and blood. See Zec. 14 where it tells of where Jesus comes to, and how flesh is consumed away. See Isa 63:3.

Isa 63:1 Who is this that cometh from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.

Isa 63:2 Wherefore art thou red in thine apparel, and thy garments like him that treadeth in the winefat?

Isa 63:3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.

Isa 63:4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed is come.

Gen 49:10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Gen 49:11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass's colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:

Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

The armies mentioned here are those that Jesus brings with him, (1Th 4:14). Also the armies are the clouds mentioned in 1Th 4:17. Note they are in fine linen, white, and clean, (like clouds). See Heb 12:1 where Paul used the word cloud to represent people.

1 Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

1 Th 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Heb 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

If someone is dressed in white, I guess in the air they'd look like clouds.

A sharp sword from the mouth of Jesus,
who shall rule with a rod of iron

Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

What comes out of the mouth? WORDS. The words that come from the mouth of Jesus will be truth. To those who are or have been wrong and suddenly come face to face with TRUTH, (Jesus' sword) it will cut very deep and be very painful to the spiritual body since by this time flesh is no more. See Rev 6:15-16.

Psa 2:9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

Joel 1:15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.

Isa 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

Isa 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Isa 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

Isa 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Nahum 1:2 God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

Rev 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

By now you surely know who is the KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Deu 10:17 For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

Rev 19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;

Ever see a dead animal beside the road. It don't last long.

Rev 19:18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.

The flesh of all men, (mankind).

The beast, the kings of the earth and their
armies, gather to battle Christ and His armies

Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

The beast and false prophet cast alive into a lake of fire

Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Satan's power structure being taken away. God isn't quite through with him yet.

Rev 13:13 And he doeth great wonders, so that he maketh fire come down from heaven on the earth in the sight of men,

Rev 13:14 And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Rev 13:15 And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Dan 7:11 I beheld then because of the voice of the great words which the horn spake: I beheld even till the beast was slain, and his body destroyed, and given to the burning flame.

The remnant are slain by the sword of Jesus

Rev 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Again, what comes from someone's mouth? Words. In this case, Truth. Straight from Jesus.

Satan bound for 1,000 years

Rev 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.

Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

Satan to be loosed for a little season

Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive[1] the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

1 "DECEIVE": 4105. planao, plan-ah'-o; from G4106; to (prop. cause to) roam (from safety, truth, or virtue):--go astray, deceive, err, seduce, wander, be out of the way.

What is the big thing in the end time? Deception.

Isa 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

Isa 24:22 And they shall be gathered together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited.

Absalom a type of the Antichrist, (Satan)? God always gives us examples.

2 Sam 18:17 And they took Absalom, and cast him into a great pit in the wood, and laid a very great heap of stones upon him: and all Israel fled every one to his tent.

Dan 7:12 As concerning the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away: yet their lives were prolonged for a season and time.

Psa 7:15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.

Those who reign with Christ for 1,000 years

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment[1] was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

1 "JUDGMENT": 2917. krima, kree'-mah; from G2919; a decision (the function or the effect, for or against ["crime"]):--avenge, condemned, condemnation, damnation, + go to law, judgment.

Thrones, plural? They sat? Judgment given them? Some are going to have some mighty important jobs. Only those who're worthy.

The first resurrection

Rev 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

The first resurrection takes place here. If people have been raptured out, why didn't these leave with them? All of God's children who are true and loyal to Jesus up to this time, (the end), take part in this. Believers, whom have died prior to this have already been resurrected. See 1 Thessalonians 4:14.

1 Th 4:14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

If we truly believe that Jesus died and was raised, (resurrected), from the dead, we must believe those that have died are already raised, (resurrected), and with God.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign[1] with him a thousand years.

1 "REIGN": 936. basileuo, bas-il-yoo'-o; from G935; to rule (lit. or fig.):--king, reign.

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

1 Cor 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?

1 Cor 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Satan loosed from his prison

Rev 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

Rev 20:8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog[1] and Magog[2], to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

1 "GOG": 1136. Gog, gogue; of Heb. or. [H1463]; Gog, a symb. name for some future Antichrist:--Gog.

2 "MAGOG": 3098. Magog, mag-ogue'; of Heb. or. [H4031]; Magog, a for. nation, i.e. (fig.) an Antichristian party:--Magog.

Imagine, here we are at the end of the one thousand year reign of Christ, all are in spiritual bodies, and have had that much time to study and learn of God and his plan, and this many souls still follow Satan. This is Satan's final attempt to overthrow God. I tend to think that Satan, (knowing how forgiving God is), believes that if he can get enough souls, (God's children), to follow him, that God will not destroy him. See Eze 44:25 where we shall know our loved ones in the millennium.

Fire from God destroys Satan's army

Rev 20:9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp[1] of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

1 "CAMP": 3925. parembole, par-em-bol-ay'; from a comp. of G3844 and G1685; a throwing in beside (juxtaposition), i.e. (spec.) battle-array, encampment or barracks (tower Antonia):--army, camp, castle.

This fire must be like the fire in the lake of fire. Not fire as we know. It has to be something that will destroy a soul.

Heb 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

2 Pet 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

2 Pet 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,

2 Pet 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Satan, (the devil), is cast into the lake of fire

Rev 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet[1] are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever[2] and ever.

1 "PROPHET": 5578. pseudoprophetes, psyoo-dop-rof-ay'-tace; from G5571 and G4396; a spurious prophet, i.e. pretended foreteller or religious impostor:--false prophet.

Comp. G5550.

Read my notes at Haggai 2:7 concerning shaking the wicked.

Note, that Satan is cast into the lake of fire before the Great White Throne Judgment. He's already been judged, found guilty, and sentenced to die. See Eze. 28:18.

Ezek 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffic; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.

John is shown and describes
the judgment at the great white throne

Rev 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

I think the judgment seat of Christ will take place at the same time as the Great White Throne Judgment. I also think it could happen to all, at the same time, as the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit spoke thru the apostles. All heard it in their own tongue. To me that means different languages had to be spoken by the Holy Spirit at the same time. At the judgment, all souls could hear his or her own trial, (judgment), on an individual basis at the same time. If so, it wouldn't take too long, and we could go on with business at hand, in the Eternity. Or I guess God could hear each case separately, since time is no more.

Rev 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

God is keeping records. All that we do, is being recorded. Is that a job given to some who have gone on from this life? Maybe given to some before they enter the flesh.

Psa 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

The next few verses is Jesus talking. This indicates to me that this is the judgment seat of Christ, and what it will be like.

Mat 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Mat 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

Mat 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Mat 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Mat 25:35 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Mat 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Mat 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

Mat 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Mat 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

Mat 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

Mat 25:42 For I was an hungered, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:

Mat 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.

Mat 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?

Mat 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

Mat 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Rev 20:13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell[1] delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

1 "HELL": 86. haides, hah'-dace; from G1 (as a neg. particle) and G1492; prop. unseen, i.e. "Hades" or the place (state) of departed souls:--grave, hell.

Rev 17:15 And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.

Rev 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.

Ezek 18:4 Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Psa 37:20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

The lake of fire, which is the second death

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

See Gen 3:4. Just as Satan was telling Eve in the garden, "Ye shall not surely die". Preachers, teachers, and lay people of the Christian community are telling people today the same thing, "Ye shall not surely die". You will be in torment forever, burning in hell. That is saying, everyone is going to live forever, and that all will have eternal life. To them it's just a matter of where and under what conditions. See Eze. 18:4.

Micah 4:5 For all people will walk every one in the name of his god, and we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.

Psa 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

Exo 32:33 And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

Read my notes at Haggai 2:7 concerning shaking the wicked.

Psa 7:13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors.

Instruments of Death? What is the ultimate instrument of death?

Rev 20:14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

John 3:16 (Jesus talking). For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

The outcome is pretty obvious about the whosoever will and the whosoever wont.

A new heaven and a new earth

Rev 21:1 And I saw a new[1] heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

1 "NEW": 2537. kainos, kahee-nos'; of uncert. affin.; new (espec. in freshness; while G3501 is prop. so with respect to age):--new.

3501. neos, neh'-os; includ. the comp. neoteros, neh-o'-ter-os; a prim. word; "new", i.e. (of persons) youthful, or (of things) fresh; fig. regenerate:--new, young.

See Isa 65:17 where the word, (new), traced to its prime is to renew or rebuild.

Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new[1] heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

1 "NEW": 2319. chadash, khaw-dawsh'; from H2318; new:--fresh, new thing.

2318. chadash, khaw-dash'; a prim. root; to be new; caus. to rebuild:--renew, repair.

Psa 104:30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

Eccl 1:11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

Isa 42:15 I will make waste mountains and hills, and dry up all their herbs; and I will make the rivers islands, and I will dry up the pools.

Psa 8:8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas.

Zep 1:3 I will consume man and beast; I will consume the fowls of the heaven, and the fishes of the sea, and the stumblingblocks with the wicked; and I will cut off man from off the land, saith the LORD.

Psa 104:30 Thou sendest forth thy spirit, they are created: and thou renewest the face of the earth.

The Holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God

Rev 21:2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned[1] for her husband.

1 "ADORNED": 2885. kosmeo, kos-meh'-o; from G2889; to put in proper order, i.e. decorate (lit. or fig.); spec. to snuff (a wick):--adorn, garnish, trim.

This is just one city. There will be more. Read Isa 61:4 where we will build them. Or better said rebuild them.

Isa 61:4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

Rev 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

Gen 17:7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.

Gen 17:8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

Ezek 36:28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and ye shall be my people, and I will be your God.

Ezek 48:35 It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.

God shall wipe away all tears,
death, sorrow, crying, and pain

Rev 21:4 And God shall wipe[1] away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain[2]: for the former things are passed away.

1 "WIPE": 1813. exaleipho, ex-al-i'-fo; from G1537 and G218; to smear out, i.e. obliterate (erase tears, fig. pardon sin):--blot out, wipe away.

2 "PAIN": 4192. ponos, pon'-os; from the base of G3993; toil, i.e. (by impl.) anguish:--pain.

Isa 25:7 And he will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the veil that is spread over all nations.

Isa 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.

If there is no more pain then the lake of fire must be done away with also.

Eccl 1:11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.

The former things I believe are of the first earth and heavenly age. When this flesh age is over, and we are back with God, and after the Great White Throne Judgment, we will not remember this flesh age.

Rev 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new[1]. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

1 "NEW": 2537. kainos, kahee-nos'; of uncert. affin.; new (espec. in freshness; while G3501 is prop. so with respect to age):--new.

3501. neos, neh'-os; includ. the comp. neoteros, neh-o'-ter-os; a prim. word; "new", i.e. (of persons) youthful, or (of things) fresh; fig. regenerate:--new, young.

It is done

Rev 21:6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.

Isa 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Rev 21:7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

Again, the second death

Rev 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

John, with great detail, describes the New Jerusalem

Rev 21:9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will show thee the bride, the Lamb's wife.

Rev 21:10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,

Rev 21:11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

Rev 21:12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

Ezek 48:31 And the gates of the city shall be after the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; one gate of Reuben, one gate of Judah, one gate of Levi.

Ezek 48:32 And at the east side four thousand and five hundred: and three gates; and one gate of Joseph, one gate of Benjamin, one gate of Dan.

Ezek 48:33 And at the south side four thousand and five hundred measures: and three gates; one gate of Simeon, one gate of Issachar, one gate of Zebulun.

Ezek 48:34 At the west side four thousand and five hundred, with their three gates; one gate of Gad, one gate of Asher, one gate of Naphtali.

Ezek 48:35 It was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, The LORD is there.

Rev 21:13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

Rev 21:14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

This is after the great white throne judgment, and we have all settled into the peace that is there. Look at who's names are on the twelve foundations. Is Judas in Heaven or Hell? He repented. If his repentance was worthless, what about ours??? See Rev. 4:4.

Rev 21:15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.

Rev 21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.

Rev 21:17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.

The city must have an outer wall around it.

Rev 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.

Rev 21:19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished[1] with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;

1 "GARNISHED": 2885. kosmeo, kos-meh'-o; from G2889; to put in proper order, i.e. decorate (lit. or fig.); spec. to snuff (a wick):--adorn, garnish, trim.

Rev 21:20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.

Rev 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.

Rev 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.

Rev 3:12 (Jesus talking). Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

How would you like to be a pillar in the temple of God?

Rev 21:23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.

Isa 60:19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

Isa 60:20 Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

Isa 60:21 Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

Kings in heaven?

Rev 21:24 And the nations[1] of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth[2] do bring their glory and honour into it.

1 "NATIONS": 1484. ethnos, eth'-nos; prob. from G1486; a race (as of the same habit), i.e. a tribe; spec. a foreign (non-Jewish) one (usually by impl. pagan):--Gentile, heathen, nation, people.

2 "EARTH": 1093. ge, ghay; contr. from a prim. word; soil; by extens. a region, or the solid part or the whole of the terrene globe (includ. the occupants in each application):--country, earth (-ly), ground, land, world.

Isa 60:11 Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.

Isa 60:3 And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

Rev 21:25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

Rev 21:26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

What will we be bringing into it? What does God want?

Hosea 6:6 For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

Psa 69:28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, and not be written with the righteous.

A pure river of the water of Life

Rev 22:1 And he showed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

Psa 46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.

Jacob's pillar? Will it be under that throne as it has been in England and Scotland? God allowed water to flow from it in the wilderness when Israel came out of Egypt.

The next few verses inserted are in the one thousand year reign of Christ.

Ezek 47:1 Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.

Ezek 47:2 Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.

Ezek 47:3 And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.

Ezek 47:4 Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.

Ezek 47:5 Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over.

Ezek 47:6 And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river.

Ezek 47:7 Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on the one side and on the other.

Ezek 47:8 Then said he unto me, These waters issue out toward the east country, and go down into the desert, and go into the sea: which being brought forth into the sea, the waters shall be healed.

Ezek 47:9 And it shall come to pass, that every thing that liveth, which moveth, whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither: for they shall be healed; and every thing shall live whither the river cometh.

Ezek 47:10 And it shall come to pass, that the fishers shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread forth nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, exceeding many.

Ezek 47:11 But the miry places thereof and the marishes thereof shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.

Ezek 47:12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

The Tree of Life

Rev 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations[1].

1 "NATIONS": 1484. ethnos, eth'-nos; prob. from G1486; a race (as of the same habit), i.e. a tribe; spec. a foreign (non-Jewish) one (usually by impl. pagan):--Gentile, heathen, nation, people.

Healing in heaven? Ezekiel had been led into a river that could not be crossed.

Rev 2:7 (Jesus talking). He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Rev 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants[1] shall serve[2] him:

1 "SERVANTS": 1401. doulos, doo'-los; from G1210; a slave (lit. or fig., invol. or vol.; frequently therefore in a qualified sense of subjection or subverviency):--bond (-man), servant.

2 "SERVE": 3000. latreuo, lat-ryoo'-o; from latris (a hired menial); to minister (to God), i.e. render religious homage:--serve, do the service, worship (-per).

Rev 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

They will have the seal of God in their forehead.

Rev 9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.

No more night

Rev 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever[1] and ever.

Comp. G5550.

Note, they, have gone from reigning one thousand years with Christ, to throughout all eternity.

Isa 60:19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

Rev 22:6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.

Jesus states, "Behold I come quickly"

Rev 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.

Again, John falls down to worship the angel

Rev 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which showed me these things.

Again, John is about to worship an angel. What would you or I do in the presence of an angel? There's one coming before Christ. His name is Satan. Beware.

Rev 22:9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.

Here, John is back in his time, 96 AD. We don't know who this messenger, (angel), was, but he must have lived in the flesh also.

Seal not this book. The time is at hand

Rev 22:10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

Words are closed till when? The time of the end. Here, in Daniel the prophecy is sealed.

Rev 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Is God begging people to come? No. Let the chips fall where they may. Note there are some righteous people still here. Way over here in the last chapter of the Bible. So much for the pre-tribulation rapture.

Jesus repeats, "Behold I come quickly"

Rev 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward[1] is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.

1 "REWARD": 3408. misthos, mis-thos'; appar. a prim. word; pay for service (lit. or fig.), good or bad:--hire, reward, wages.

Rev 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

Isa 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.

Rev 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Gen 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Gen 3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:

Rev 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Jesus, The Bright and Morning Star

Rev 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Note this statement is not addressed just to the seven churches in Asia, as in Revelation 1:11. And some claim the church isn't mentioned after chapter four.

Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

Whosoever will

Rev 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Whosoever will.

2 Pet 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Warnings to those who add
to, or take away, from this book

Rev 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Preachers and teachers should read this verse often.

Rev 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Preachers and teachers should read this verse often.

Deu 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

Jesus states, "Surely I come quickly"

Rev 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

Rev 22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.

I've heard that in some seminaries it's said not to teach above a 4th grade level. I wonder why?

Thanks, for allowing me, to share this with you. Remember, to always, study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.
